whenever i try to talk to a girl i like or love, I can't talk 2 them due to the fact that i am shy. whenever I decide that i will talk 2 her, I can't when I face them. I am 18 years old and i need to overcome this situation. plz help me.

think of the girl as one of your buddies, take a deep breath and try not to gulp it makes you look nervous. but just remember, that they are people to, they have the same problems as you.
why should you be nervous anyway?
you're probably a pretty cool guy, i mean really whats the worst they can do? they WILL say hi back no matter what. i guarantee it

Chill. I'm shy also and I find that shy guys who just say what they want to say sound more confident than people who aren't. Just think , "There's so many other women I'll see in life, is it worth prisoning myself over this ONE girl?". Free yourself. There will be more ladies that will be attracted to you so what's there to lose? So what that one girl rejects you. Everyone gets rejected. Trust me another girl will pass by, and another, and another. Besides life is too short for you to keep worrying about what to say and when to say it. Be confident, be the lion inside of you. Yourself is a shy 18-year old, but your lion is a man that can pull any girl he sees fit and if he loses one he has already got another one on his mind. I'm not going to give you "lines" because without being confident it means nothing. Find the player in you and then you'll know what to say.

I have to say myself because I can tell you anything but just isn't right. I myself was shy and it is scary to talk because I hate to be the one that has to do all of the talking and when we stop talking that is when all of the presure is on me. What I did start is to do a little flirting but not to strong and not like you are trying to get into there pants nice things. If you know anything that has to do with art, or silk screening , or gardening, so and you find some thing that you can get them to talk more about some thing that they Like

You need to believe in yourself. The only reason you are getting nervous is the fear of rejection or looking like a fool. If you dont care waht the answer is, you will be a lot more at ease to talk to them and if they dont like you, onto the next chick. Shiness is just another word for fear of being more vocal, open, and confident.
If this helps...my guy friend told his guy friend once to "grow a set" when he was attempting to ask this girl to be exclusive with him.

I know this will sound silly, but it may help until you get you confidence up ... try writing down what you want to say to a girl you like and then practice in the mirror. Get the feel of how you want the convo to go and then go for it. Don't try to remember the "script" word for word, but you'll feel better knowing you have a plan of action on what to say.

Ask someone to hook you up, but women like me find it attractive when a man has enough guts to ask them out. It shows something about his character. Don't be afraid of rejection, because everyone has been rejected at some point, whether that be a job interview or a promotion.

Baby steps is the key. Say hello, than for example bring up something safe and easy like for example, the shape of clouds; in that way no one can be offended.
Girls are human just like you and many of them are just as shy.

Suck up the courage and go ask! Girls can tell when a guys nervous, and she'll probably be flattered if she sees you pluck up enough courage to talk to her!
