I've completely fallen for this slightly older guy. Even before I knew him personally I thought he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen; something told me he was special.

He's actually a good friend of mine now, and I am making (failed) attempts to become more than his friend. This is, I've heard from someone that he doesn't want a girlfriend. I find it so hard to believe someone that age isn't interested in dating at ALL, but I've got to accept that.

Also, I heard from the same person that he's just pretty messed up and probably is unhappy. He doesn't have many friends, and he's very immature and isolated for someone his age.

To complicate things even more, I just can't act normal around him; I always have to be a jokester or let a good buzz get the best of me and I make an *** of myself. So why WOULD he like me anyway?

My question is, what do I do for this guy? I love him, but he doesn't love me back. He needs help. What can I do to help him? SHOULD I?

My boyfriend and I have known each other for five years and we've been together for two years. I love him very much and we're both really good for each other. We're planning to move in with each other in about a year and it scares me. I've never lived with anyone else before (I live with my parents) and I don't know what to expect. I know we will fight like every couple does, but what is normal and what isn't? I know it's still a year away but it's on my mind all the time. Does anyone have any answers or suggestions?

Is your g/f was hit by ur best friend, would you stand up for her or let her fight?? Would you be worried a 17yr old would hurt a 5'1 95lb girl?? Why do you think you have to protect her?? Would you be mad at her for possibly ruining ur friendship or him for hurting her?? His friend was pissed cuz he lost a race to a 16yr old gymnast in a pink porsche. Or so he said. Is it normal for ur b/f to take over and not let you fight. I so wanted to fight, but he said he would and did.

Why do guys feel they have to protect girls?? Is it a kind gesture or way of showing off??

I met this girl brittany about 2 weeks ago. We were having alot of fun during those 2 weeks. Friday I had a party at my house and I left for about 4 hours trying to cheer her up because of her family problems and school. I was the only one to cheer her up and I ditch my own party for her and alot of people got angry at me again because I just ran off. Later that night I ask her if she wanted to start dating and right away her eyes lite up and she said yes. So yesterday I call her up and ask if she wanted to hang out around 8 or 9pm. She said for sure but she was going to a party with a friend so she said we should chill around 12am. So she calls me at 11 and says she has no way to my house so I go and pick her up but as soon as I get there like litreally 2 mins aways she calls me back and says not to come and just hangs up on me. I call her back 2 times and someone else picks up and says she left but I know they were lying to me. I dont know why she did this?? I love her so much...

Dating LD since moved to NY in Sep. He said he would marry me once he got a decent job, but I fear he has changed towards me during our separation. Going back to Tokyo to visit him next week. He says coming to the airport costs too much money and time, so he thinks he won't come. I begged him to see me the day I arrive. He was very worried and nervous that that would lead to him staying with me in the hotel, something he clearly does not want to do. His tone of voice, worry and attempt to avoid this situation indicated this. Yet when I forced the question, he says he still wants to go out with me, that it is not the case that he cant break up with me out of kindness, and he would not rather be friends. Had to push for him to have lunch with me, he says he wants to limit expenditure, he is saving up for something expensive and highclass. He will tell me what it is when he sees me, but I must not tell anyone about it. Whats going on and what should I do? Been intimate in past with him.

Ok, here's the situation. Two weeks ago today I broke up with my boyfriend of six months. It was actually a mutual breakup though, since he had no objections. He and I had been fighting a lot during the last several weeks of the relationship. Before that, we were getting along pretty well, and were in love. He treated me very well before all the really bad fighting started. Two days after the breakup I sent him an email asking for forgiveness since I ended the relationship so abruptly and while his parents were still in town. (I met them a few days prior) He never replied to that email, though. Yesterday I really had the urge to talk to him, so I called him up and left a voicemail saying hi and that I'd like to still be friends if he wants to as well. So far he hasn't called me back. I'm having a really hard time letting go and moving on. I guess I still have some feelings for him. I think I'd feel so much if he'd contact me so we could talk. Anyone else going thru this?
