Would you?? Why???
Is your g/f was hit by ur best friend, would you stand up for her or let her fight?? Would you be worried a 17yr old would hurt a 5'1 95lb girl?? Why do you think you have to protect her?? Would you be mad at her for possibly ruining ur friendship or him for hurting her?? His friend was pissed cuz he lost a race to a 16yr old gymnast in a pink porsche. Or so he said. Is it normal for ur b/f to take over and not let you fight. I so wanted to fight, but he said he would and did.

Why do guys feel they have to protect girls?? Is it a kind gesture or way of showing off??

I don't know about any losers out there.... but my boyfriend would stand up for me and not watch me fight. What kinda boyfriend would that be?!?

It's out of courtesy and protection. It's a natural gesture that takes over. It's not a way of showing off...

Men just have the instinct to protect the one they love. It's primal. He probably wasn't showing off, it's a code among them too. You don't do things like that and if you do then there are consequences. I learned this from my ex. I know how you feel, I can definately take care of myself but my ex always thought he had to protect me. It's sweet. If that guy really hit you, then he deserved a shot in the mouth.
