I have been seeing someone for the past 2 weeks, and was in a up&Down, un-healthy relationship until we broke-up yesterday. I had been going back & Forth, trying to decided on whether to take a chance with this new man or sticking with the other. We were together for 2 yrs. and i just didn't know. This new man has made me more happy than i have been in so long, and we get along so well! The only thing is They are mutual friends. But, just like he says, why pass up something that may be "it" just because they are mutual friends? I honestly think he may be "the one', and he feels the same way. I feel terribly guilty about it all, but why sacrifice our happiness for one person who didn't treat me the way i should've been treated? We both had our faults in the whole relationship, but he's almost like a grown man (38 yrs. old) going on 25! I am moving in with this new man, and we are happier than ever, but i'm scared if this is too soon???

I am really attracted to this guy but I kind of messed things up. He has tried to get closer to me several times but I never responded te first two times because I was nervous and the last time I appeared to brush him off. (That wasn't the intent but it looks like thats how he took it.) I would still like to pursue something here but I am not sure how to go about it. Should I just go for it the next time I see him or wait and see if he will try again? I am not sure if he will try again.

My guy who's in his late 30's talks to his mother openly about breast feeding & womens external mucus and things like that. Yesterday my boyfriend told me he might still have feelings for his ex. They dated for 3 years, and he broke up with her a few weeks before he met me. We waited a month before we started dating. Anyway, we've been dating about 3 and a half months now. He lives in VA (where I am), and she lives in MN. Anyway, he said he's feeling jealous because she's dating someone else now. He's trying to figure out if he still loves her. Well, today, he told me he felt a lot better, and though he wants to think some more, he thinks I'll be happy with what he's decided. He told me yesterday that he KNOWS he loves me, and he's not sure how he feels about her. He said it's scary that he loves me so much because he always thought you could only feel that way about one person. Now, I've become what his ex was - the most important person in his life. He says he's just scared...what do you think?

What are it's limits? When is it acceptable to walk away from a friendship without being the bad guy?

Of course it's the job of a good friend to catch you when you fall...

But what if you know you're going to fall? They know you're going to fall... the TELL YOU... and YOU AGREE....

Is it still my job to stand there and catch my friend? Listen to the crying? Tear my own heart open watching that friend suffer when we both know it's what's going to happen?

I don't feel like doing it.

If I just... stop caring... does it make me a bad person?

So does this means there are no straight girls out there because even if you think about doing you're not 100% straight. I don't believe it's just a thought thing or it's ok with girls thing. Because I don't ever think about being with another guy. The thought of that makes me sick, so I'm in the category of 110% straight with no compromise whatsoever. So my question is are there any girls out there who would never ever cross that line who are completely 110% into men and find lesbian thing disgusting??? I have two conflicting thoughts:

One is that these tactics are a test to see if you are really committed to her; if you give up then you appear to be a WUSS that has no confidence in your self.

But the other part of me thinks that these things could be a test to see if she can get you to chase her, in which case I think that if you do you have lost.

My roomate and I finally admitted one drunken night that we were very attracted to one another and decided against sleeping together, but agreed making out was okay. That same night, when we got home with a bunch of people he chickened out at the last minute tho. Well it all started in my last year in sumer school. I had just gotten over a bad relationship and all of a sudden this really nice, funny, and very sweet guy which i knew for a month and was very close to asked me out.
