If a female wants to have sex for the first time with the lights on just to make it a little more erotic. But, has some strong insecurities about the way she looks. well, if you want the lights off and she wants them on, then compromise, have like a few candles going but the lights off, so there will be a little bit of light to satisfy her. And maybe she won't feel as insecure. Plus that candles are supposed to make it a little more "romantic". She can't be that bad looking, but maybe one way you can make her a little more secure in herself is to make the sex extra great and make her feel like you don't care what her body looks like, if you don't like it or whatever, but make her feel comfortable with the things you do to her body, it'll make her feel like you don't care what she looks like and that will give her more self-confidence. If your going to have the lights on and your naked you really cant hide anything. If your insecure about your body it will show in the way you act and that wont be sexy. Instead why not dim the lights or have candles for light. That way you can see each other but in a very complimentary light.

If she's insecure about her body maybe wearing a sexy nightgown and leaving it on would make her feel better? Be sensitive and receptive to what she does enjoy so you can focus on that. If she gets into it, she'll forget that her belly might be jiggly or her boobs are small, whatever!

Stop fretting. Once involved in the act, you forget about everything!!! And honestly, the other person is attracted to you, so what is the problem? Nobody is perfect. Maybe start with the lights off and once into it turn on the table lamp.
