I have two conflicting thoughts:
One is that these tactics are a test to see if you are really committed to her; if you give up then you appear to be a WUSS that has no confidence in your self.
But the other part of me thinks that these things could be a test to see if she can get you to chase her, in which case I think that if you do you have lost.
So which is it!?!?

We have already been together, she just seems to think that I am a player and I think this is her way of testing me to see if I am after more than her P and if I am worth her time.
In a way, I think it is a way that girls avoid getting too involved with someone they think will break their heart and make them fart!

It depends on the reaction you want. Y don't you just tell her how it is making you feel and the she will get both you chasing her and you showing her how much you care all in one.

First of all you need to establish if she is actually playing hard to get or if she may not be as interested as you think she is. Secondly, their is a fine line here. Women love men with confidence but at the same time don't want to be ignored. You have to make it clear that you are interested then back off a little so you don't seem needy. We are tricky. We want the emotional, sweet, loving guy but we also want the strong, dominent, confident guy as well. If you act too interested you seem to needy, if you back off too much you seem like a jerk so basically somewhere in between those too extremes.

I would play hard to get to see if he was interested enough in me to chase me. If yes, then he may be interested, although, I think some men simply like the idea of chasing after a girl and once they catch her, they move to the next chase. I think if a guy doesn't want to chase me, then he's not that interested.

Stay back fro now but not to far back see where it goes and if she still plays hard to get then you start to play hard to get then let her know a little bit at a time about your self and she will do the same.
It is a test to see if you are worth her time so if you like her even a little bit then she will start to tell you a little bit about herself. Don't let in at first let the idea of you wanting her to chase you sink in and she will follow. hope this helps out if not email me fennessy22@yahoo.com

i hate these games... and that's what playing hard to get is, a game... notice the part called "PLAYING"...
if i were dating a girl, and she started playing hard to get i'd ask her why she didn't want to be with me anymore...
she's pulling away from me, she must have some problem... I also make sure to tell them befor i say these things that i don't play these games... some games can be fun, but the one's that mess with your head are BAD.
then, next time it happens, i must assume what she says is true.

The second part of you is right. We're testing how far you'll go to snare us. If you really want the girl and she's playing hard to get, you'll try harder.

here, lemme tell you the truth. i have been playing hard to get for the last... forever, and it's not any test or anything. the girl probably likes you, but is shy to show it openly. ASK HER OUT! she will be overjoyed. =)

The first one. Girls play hard to get to see if you actually like her enough to try harder. Girls think guys are after one thing...which is the booty...so you gotta prove to her you actually like her and are willing to try hard to get with her....so if you really like her you gotta go through it
