...and should I call her and play back?

I went out with this girl and ended up sleeping with her. She really seemed to like me and wanted to hang out the rest of the next day/morning, but I had to leave to tend to something else.

Fast forward to now (a month later) and she stood me up for our second "date". Not so much as a phone call or an email.

BUT...here is the kicker: on the phone she was giving me a lot of positive signals; telling me that she only talks to people on the phone while at work if she likes them, that she usually ignores peoples calls if she doesn't like them, and then talking to me for an hour; trying to make me laugh (and sometimes succeeding); asking me where I was going to take her next time; asking why I haven't called her in so long, etc.

So am I reading this right, is she giving me mixed signals/playing hard to get?

What is the best way to play back? I want to call her but NOT set up a date and see if she calls me.

She works next door to my work and i see her often, I think she is very attractive and have never seen a ring on her hand, so i know she isnt married? we have said hi to each other but nothing else, also one day i notice she was looking at me walking across their parking lot and she has waved and smilled as she has drove by me. So how can i get her number? I dont want to use a cheesy pick up line or sound like I m desperate.

hey everyone! there is this girl i know who i see almost evryday and tlk to her a,crack jokes and all..she laughd at em as wel then i gathrd up courage and asked her to go out with common frens.couple of days back we were supposed to go to a party i asked if i cud pick her up on my way and she said yes..askd me to call her and fix up the time id pick her.. but party got canclled we still met in class..i even mailed her funny msgs which she replied to the same hilarious way and texed her mobil msg.i even askd her out for a coffee which she refused and even offered to drop which she politely trnd dwn my of .. the party was reschedld and pickin up from last time she had agreed to come with me i maild her about the new schedule of the party and asked her in funny way if i cud pick her on my way and askd her to cal me but she dint and to my surprise she came to the prty but ignord me cmpletly and whevr i tried to wave at her she just looked away ..plz tell how do i clear up this mess..

My ex broke up with me because he didn't feel the way I felt for him. I really loved and miss his parents, they were my second family in this new town I moved to. But I'm not sure what they know about the break-up, I didn't do anything "wrong" so I assume they hold nothing against me. His mother let me borrow a few books and I would like to send them back to her, with a card to the family for the holidays. But I'm not sure what to say, I'm terrible with words! I am getting married in 4 monthes and I will be 18 in April, I am working now but I am that kinf of person that when i get money I go buy something for my self. Now I was so happy of gettng married, but now I am not sure, because I dont know ow should i ask my parents for money. i think they understand that they will pay money for wedding like all do but i dont like that. Well this girl and I were dating for about 8 months until in 2003 she wanted to be friends because "we moved too fast." I did not want to lose a friend so even though we were not "together", we stayed friends. Since then, We hung out and saw each other at mutual friend's houses and what not but we were just friends. Then, about two years ago, I moved about 60 miles away, and we have only seen each other once since then and that is when she invited me to her 22nd Birthday Party. We talk about once every 2-3 months, to catch up, and as friends. Now here is the tricky part, I just wrote her an e-mail last night, basicially expressing my true feelings and my love for her. I said that I wanted a "fresh start" and I said that she is someone that I really like. So, do you think this is too much? What is a girl's general policy to "fresh starts" with men they once dated? Ive known this guy as a friend for 3 ears. He moved to another state 2 years back. We keep in touch though. At the beginning of the year i told him i liked him and he didn't reciprocate the feeling, instead he made me feel as though he was still inlove with his ex-girlfriend. so i moved on and we did not speak for a while. When we finaly started talking again he asked if i had slept with anyone and i didn't want to lie so i said yes. Now 4 months down the line he asks me the same question whether i really slept with any guys all those other months. why would he ask me this!

a few years ago, i met a guy and became friends right away. i started to like him, and it would be safe to say he liked me too. a few years have gone by now, and the feeling's only intensified. I've seen him at a few parties, and we talk a little there, but we're both shy when it comes to that. my friends say that whenever i'm around him, he has a hard time focusing on anything, and when they say my name, he's really attentive. when we talk, he'll look at my eyes, and then my lips. when i give him my opinion, he listens. he has other friends that are girls, but doesn't treat them the same. he also went through this phase last year and treated everyone a little differently (he's over it now), but he was the same to me the whole time. the thing is, i've only seen him in the halls this year, but he'll focus on me in the crowd and stops talking to his friends for a while. it'd be awkward for me to just ask him out, we need to become "reaquainted"... how? and does he like me?

Okay...so we were friends with beneifts for like 4 months and we were both cool with that..till i said hey listen it this isnt going anywhere then im gunna date other people. He said fine date other people( i think it was his pride talking) so then i did, his friend. Unfortunatly one drunken call from him and we were at it again for another four months. I recently found out he lied to me about having s*ex with this girl. so i ended it for good, for two months now.
