I would either stare at a person for a little while, and/or laugh around them a lot. Also walk with them to places.

If a man likes you it will be obvious and no hints will be necessary. If he pays only you attention when in a group you'll know.

He will start up conversations with me, look at me significantly more than is usually accepted, and when in the midst of conversation he will say things to trya nd impress example- brag about things.

Does he smile at you and talk to you or sit near you? These are always good starts.
