Singles & Dating - 19 November 2006

I have been seeing this guy for a little over a month. I really really like him, but we haven't made anything official yet. He calls me almost everyday and today he dropped by my office to say Hello. In my last post I sounded like I was complaining, but I am not at all. What I was wanting is outsiders opinions on what they think he feels about me.

I feel silly asking questions like this, but I haven't dated in a very long time. I just got out a pretty long relationship. I have dated a few guys since then, but this guy is the first one I have had any feelings for whatsoever and I am afraid to set myself up to get hurt again.

She would invite me around regularly to visit her at her house and we had a great time just me, her and her baby. We laughed joked and had fun. Then her landlord decided to sell the place and she needed to move out. She does'nt have a car so she got a lift to work with a freind. Her freind could no longer offer her the lift service because she had moved in with her best freinds parents. I then offered to take her to work and drop the baby off at the sitters she accepted. Once she was in her new reidence it became very hard for to see her again. I saw her for ten min in the morning while drivingand ten min at night when I dropped her off. when I asked her to do something with me she brushed it off.

Is she using me ?

How do you work up the courage to go talk to a guy when your out? I have absolutely NO guts when it comes to talking to guys Im attracted to. I can talk to guys I have no interest in, but not the ones Im attracted to. It kills me because it's the only thing I have working against me. I know I have a good personality, Im attractive, and I think I have a lot to offer someone. The reason I say this is because I know I am lucky enough and blessed to have all of these things...not because I am conceited. Its taken me a long time to actually be able to look at myself and truly say "OK, this is what you have going for you and this is what you don't". Also, it would help you answer my question better. I know if I had the guts to talk to guys, I wouldn't have so much trouble meeting a nice one. But thats my HUGE downfall. What can I do???

We were getting to know each other. We had been talking for about 4 months, when out of the blue, I told him I was getting married. He did not seem to be shocked. We remained friends. Later on, he made a feeble attempt to express his surprise at my announcement, but just would not allow himself to open up. I tried to explain that the marriage was one of convenience: the man I married still had a girlfriend and I knew it, but we got married to help our son. In the end, the marriage accomplished what we set out to do, which was to save our son. When we went our separate ways, which was about six months later, I let the other guy know, but he had moved on, which I completely understood; however, when we go out we have a good time and he treats me well, but I want more than friendship. Sometimes I think he does too, especially when he kisses me after our dates and calls me. Is he just being nice to spare my feelings?
