how many of u felt that u will never be able to love another person the same way as the first...there will be more but it wont be the same love u felt for the 1st? do u ppl still think of that person despite the years appart and althou u have moved on with ur life? i mean like after years...

The first true love is a myth! If it is true love then you would still be together! Now, if you are talking about your first love, that is different. It will always be hard to let a first love go(except for those who became abusive). That was a time of innocence, trust and first feelings.
Many can tell you about their first love and you can see the softness that will come into their eyes! No matter what the age, the feelings that are invoked are very strong! This is even true about crushes!
No one love is any better or even will be the same! Everyone is different from one another and every second changes us individually. Memory and time changes all of that! What you may think you have remembered will definitely be different than what was real.
Arm yourself with truth and slip off those rose colored glasses!
You are being overruled by your feelings of a moment in time!

No. The hardest one to let go of is the last one...the freshest relationship in your mind. You may go back to a time of innocence and wish for that first-love feeling because it was so intense; there was nothing else to compare it to at the time. But, realistically, your life experiences will always be topped by new and improved toys. That little red wagon was topped by the bicycle; the scooter was topped by the motorcycle...the Volkswagen gets topped by the Porsche. That's life!

It's very hard to get over a first love. It will take time, but just remember that there are plenty of other fish in the sea, and someone just like your first love or someone better will come along.

if u dont let go u could end up l;ke i did,married divorsed raising children on ur own,,watching the other person cheat and be irresposible..it can easily turn to bitter hate if u stay with a person

My mom, on the other hand, constantly talks about her first love (my father), and how she has never loved any of her husbands as much as she loved him, and that she still loves him.
