My buddie who is a rower on the boat I cox got in an argument with me the other day.

(I know this guy has a thing for me but I can't do anythiing about it because getting with a guy on my crew team is off limits and a dumb idea...i hate drama)

Anyways I dated a differn't the first 7 weeks of school he dumped me and to mend what he hurt i made out with quite a few boys in a small period of time each one ended up fustrating and stressing me out even more... So Like Meredith Gray I am knitting, and havn't kissed any boys for the last 4 weeks and it's been great, no stress, no drama, no stressing over boys only school.

The crew boy is trying to tell me I am kidding myself and that one is only truely happy when they have someone else in there life.

Does anyone see what he is saying true because I feel so much happier now and so complete with myself knowing I need no one but myself (for the time being).

Do you think we are only happy when we have someone else in are lifes?

Well, just curious, I mean rejection hurts, and I'm too scared to chat with this man,-he's 23, and it's all in fear of benig rejected. Anywho, if you have a story that will lighten me up, Thanks!! whats it mean when females,even female friends,find it hard to look me in the eye,(not that there,s a problem or a big deal) I just don,t understand why alot of gals do this, especially to me,I know there,s a reason why they do it and other women know exactly why they do it. I like to look people in the face and say hello and maybe smile,but alot of women, even friends of mine can look some guys in the eye but not me. they,ll come to me later when I,m not thinking about it , whats it mean!

A guy I know gave me his guitar pick and told me that he had something important to ask me, but didn't know how to bring it up. Does he want to ask me out? If so, what is a nice way of saying no, because you love him like a brother? Would it be bad if the reason is because I like his best friend? If I were to go out with his friend would it affect how we are just friends and friends only?

She puts forth effort for people, me still, too, (just not as often), but it's like she does it for others who won't thank her. She doesn't like acknowledgement or something. So, I am going to tell her today. Any tips?

It's simple to me. My gf is the paradigm of a giving person, literally gives until it hurts, which was great for a while, but, obviously, she burns herself out routinely. So I can only speculate as to why she's like this, and I do have my theories, but how fair is it? If I take from her all she gives me, she'll burn herself out. If I reject it completely, she'll resent me for not accepting her. And if I take it sometimes, but not all the time, which has been my approach so far, she keeps me at arms length b/c I'm not interested in her enough. Are my only real options leave or keep putting up w/ it?

I got mad because my boyfriend always feels sick and couldn't come over to see me and everyone was yelling and arguing already over a bunch of stuff. So, I told him that everyone was right about our age differences and that we have different maturity levels. He told me that it doesn't matter to him, that he still loves me 'cause I can accept him for who he is and not what he is. I got fed up and said "f*** you, f*** this relationship, just f***in' forget you ever met me" and hung up. I feel so bad for what I did. He's very calm when I get mad and can usually soothe me. He had a headache, so now he's layin' down. I know that everyone fights in a relationship, but I get mad at him too often. He doesn't do anything to deserve it. When I have a bad day, I take it out on him and I don't want to do it any more. I'll admit I have an anger problem. What can I do to show him that I'm sorry? I'm on a budget and can't drive. So, make it something simple.

This is part-two of my dilemma from Sunday…the good news is, he wasn't cheating after all (he confirmed for me that he went straight to his business trip in Vegas, with a car full of co-workers). And I had forgotten that he told me beforehand that he was helping some friends start up an online dating website (hence the URLs I found in the location bar). I feel so silly…but here's the bad part: back in September, my boyfriend admitted that he was no longer in love with me, that it was due to years (13 in our case) of built-up resentment, which was news to me, but I now understand why we never married. So I told him that he shouldn't stay if he's unhappy, but he said he loves me and wants to work on the relationship. He says the biggest problem is that he's always felt like he couldn't talk to me. I feel like he never gave me a chance to prove otherwise. Really, is it possible for him to ever fall back in love with me? Where do we start? We're both willing to put in the work. Thanks.

Im leaving to Europe for a month is like the senior trip we do in my school, i ' ve been with my boyfriend for a year and 5 month im so in love. But he is freaking out that im leaving i cant make him understand that im not gonna do anything that i just wanna go for the experience and to have fun but with my friends not with otehr guys i've been looking foward to this trip since im like 7 years old.

so i met this guy where i work. i work @ a gym. and we have had some small talk.- about the week, our weekend ect.. ( im 18 & hes 20) well the other day he asled what i was doing that weekend i said i wasnt sure. he said" oh well you should call me sometime" & gave me his number. so i waited a day or two later, and called him. we didnt hang out though. so a few days later, he askd if i wanted to hang out after class one night. so we are. were going to a "late dinner" & from there im not sure. ladies! and guys! im kinda nervous. im not looking for anything serious, iv been hurt/lead on before how can i telll if hes just in itjust to see if he can get some, or if hes really interested? ect.. what do i wear? how should i act. what do i talk about .. ahh!

Try and pick up on taken men, I know people say "its because they want what they cant have". But I dont think thats the case. The girl may know hes taken, but she keeps entering dangerous territory. Do you think its just the girls? Or do guys have a lot to do with it as well? And if the guys have a lot to do with it, and you have been in this same situation (on the side of the real girlfriend) please tell me the "warning" signs. Because not all guys are honest. Thanks

My gf and I have been together for almost 2 years now. We are both college educated but not equally driven. From my point of view this is shameful, but from her she has no shame in admitting that she has no goals, cares not to change lifestyle, and, at any cost avoids competition and stress. In my eyes, she is simply lazy with not much of a future in sight. I love her, but her lack of passion for life and her objectives are increasingly making me not like her. The love is still there though. It really arises the question of if love is conditional. To give more details I'll put it more simply:she doesn't clean a damn thing; she watches TV after work all night until bed; does not exercise or care about weight gain; could care less about world events-not a shred of compassion for starving kids across the globe or wheter or not Bush stays in office. Passes up opportunities for advancement at work because she wants to keep job simple. What to do?
