Must be some cartoon character!
I have seen some cartoons that were pretty erotic. I think it's okay to fantasize about them and get excited (if you know what I mean).
But if your friend declares a genuine "crush" for this fantasy character, it sounds like (he or she) simply isn't ready for the real thing yet.
Seems a bit immature, but normal.

Yes as long as he knows it's just fantasy. The cartoon character is probably what he sees as the perfect person for him. Hopefully it is a person that is drawn so far over the top that no real person can compete with it, or your friend is going to be lonely for a long time.

Its not normal to have a "crush" but i love the beast on Beauty and hte Beast after he becames a man again. I think its normal to say a cartoon character is cute

its normal if the cartoon character is human and could be real or portrayed by a real person.

Yes it is ....!!! we all have ..... but it depends how deep he or she have a crush to the cartoon character .... !!! if it's away so deep then yes it's not normal .... it's obsession
