first "date"?

Question

so i met this guy where i work. i work @ a gym. and we have had some small talk.- about the week, our weekend ect.. ( im 18 & hes 20) well the other day he asled what i was doing that weekend i said i wasnt sure. he said" oh well you should call me sometime" & gave me his number. so i waited a day or two later, and called him. we didnt hang out though. so a few days later, he askd if i wanted to hang out after class one night. so we are. were going to a "late dinner" & from there im not sure. ladies! and guys! im kinda nervous. im not looking for anything serious, iv been hurt/lead on before how can i telll if hes just in itjust to see if he can get some, or if hes really interested? ect.. what do i wear? how should i act. what do i talk about .. ahh!
help please. haha

You're right, you can't really tell at first glance if this guy just wants to get in your pants or if he might actually be the one.
Play it cool. Don't go in his house, and if he asks you to, then that's a big sign that he probably just wants to have sex with you and nothing else. See if he makes the second date. If he wants to get to know you more, then he will try to get a second date started, even when you don't "do anything" on the first one.
If you keep not "doing anything" with him, and he starts looking annoyed or tries to break up with you for nothing, let him. He's not the one--he just is frustrated because you aren't giving in. However, if you are building not only a bond with this guy, but also a deep friendship, then you should do fine, and he might (or might not) be the one for you.
Remember, it is probably better if you could get to know the person first (friends, group dating, etc) before you go headlong straight into the romance part. This is the only way to know for sure before you date.

Don't give him the idea that u want anything serious, dont kiss him unless you mean it cause kissing will lead to more, and if you're not ready for that then u'd be just as much to blame as him. Just go looking for a fun casual night and i'm sure he'll be able ot see ur intensions. Wear cute jeans and maybe some little heels or girly shoes with a cute top and light jacket. Look cute and comfy and friendly. Try not to wear anythign too revealing or he could take it another way. Try to stay covered up. Thats my advice, hope it helps.

lol, its gonna be fine! CHILL! lol... um, well first question about wat hes interested in in the relationship... i dunno if its possible to tell right away, but just take the relationship at ur own pace (maybe a bit slow) but dont get too attached, that way if hes just interested in 'getting some' then he wont stick around long and u wont be hurt... wear something casual, its the first date, wear somethin u would wear any regular day... act like yourself, if he likes you and asked you out, it was becuz he likes you as you are, if u are completely different on dates, then he might change his mind... talk about anything, u could just mention how eachother's day waz and start a whole long conversation from ther, just talk about things u would talk about with any other friend... and most of all, relax and enjoy yourself! have fun on ur date

Well dont give him any till you know if he like you or not...Even tho you been hurt try to let it go..Im glad i let my past go cuz I was hurt alot, but i let it go and now i couldnt be happier.. And you can tell if hes interested by the way he acts,if he acts like he wants to touch all over you then its just bout sex, if he try to pul out ur chair and do the things a real man would do thenn he really like you
