Singles & Dating - 2 November 2006

When 7th period came we had to see a stupid play about drugs. It so happened that I sat next to the girl I had liked since the first day of 6th grade. Now in the middle of 8th grade, I was sitting next to her feeling a little nervous. During the play I came to realize that her shoulder was leaning against mine. Throughout the play our shoulders kept leaning on each other, and while I was certainly noticing it I am not sure she did. She sometimes would move away after a while, but then come back to the position. Sometimes our legs would also touch but then move apart again. Also with this, she was the one who nearly every time put her shoulder on mine. A couple of times our shoulders clashed a little hard and immidiately fell back into postion which makes me think she might have noticed. I am not really sure about this whole event right now.
(side note) she also laughs a little more when speaking to me, not at a joke I say or anything just at maybe a thought I mention.

i daydream of my ex all the time. when i'm laying on the bed, i would remember little things that use to make me happy about my relationship before the break up of 2 years. now that we are in college and not in a close distance from one another. i can't get rid of that warm feeling he would give me.

ii would daydream about him loving my giggles and tease me about my habits that he thinks is very unique. i would remember the exchanging of emails being all mushy to one another. i would picture the future with him of having a kid and laying on the same bed with the baby between us just talking to one another. saying stuff like he(baby) looks so adorable and i wouold lean my face near it and give it a kiss and my ex would be the husband and look at us and feel warmth and great peace. and just so much more.

if i feel so great and think of him so much and i know he once did. why would he want to let me go?

My boyfriend and I got into a major argument which essentially stemmed from nothing more than my insecurites. I was overly emotional and said some things which I feel terrible about now. He told his friends and they all said he should break up with me. We have been going out for a year and a half, and we've lived together for about a year. He said he thought about breaking up all day and then even brought up "taking a break" but we both love each other more than anything, and decieded we would never do that. We are on "normal" talking terms now, but I want to make it up to him, proove that everything will be ok. I have written him a letter, but do you have any other suggestions?

I like this girl, we just met last month but seem to have a lot of common interests and similarities, but she only wants to be friends, but I know its because I'm a "nice guy" and she only dated jerks in the past, so how do I get it past the "just friends" and get a date or 2 out of it? So I am attractive (some say beautiful), well groomed, affluent, smart, intelligent, good fun and a great friend / host. The downside? I am a size 16 (US size 14).
I never have boyfriends. Will I ever have a boyfriend at this size? I think I am genetically programmed to be this size as nothing I have ever tried works. Are men ever attracted to someone who is a size 16 ? I seem to get asked out by married men a lot. I think maybe men are embarrassed to be seen with me? What do you think?

Had a long debate w/ my lady friend about this. I hate that fact that pop culture has us to believe that all men are shallow and only look for a mate just for looks. I believe that women are just has much attracted to looks has men. On a personal level every single person has quailties that they for look in someone. Not every guy wants his girl to look like Paris Hilton, and I'm sure not all women want Brad Pitt, we're all different! My lady friend said that women look beyond appearance, they go deeper like personality/beliefs wise even for one night-stands. I believe that's not true, if so all those guys stuck in the "friendzone" would be getting the girl or guy! what do you think?

Ok, so I go to this new school where everyone is pretty much a nerd but I like his black girl in one of my classes.

My class has like 200 people in it, so I have never gotten a chance to talk to her yet.

The problem is I don't know how to approach this black girl because she's real sexy, but I'm just a white boy who goes to the same school she goes to. Maybe she wants like a thug or a hustla etc.

Also, once I do get to know her and we end up talking, is there something I need to know as far as making love to a black chick??
