Is it strange for a guy to want to be chaste?

I kinda want to be chaste till I'm married because i've heard so many people regret not waiting...but for some reason people say what's the point. So is it worth it to be chaste till marriage and I said guys cause theres like a stereotype is that all guys love sex.

Who cares what anyone else thinks if you want to wait until your married. That is your prerogative. I think it's great. What a compliment for the woman you will marry. You might be a little lost at first, but if she loves you she'll be patient. I think the best part is there would be no bad habits to break. You can be completely in tune with one woman and no one else. I regret not waiting and sometimes it does bother me to think that my husband was with other people. I think if we both waited it would have been a wonderful experience. It's up to you, but I only have good thoughts for someone that wants to wait. Good luck. Don't give in to any pressure.

I don't regret having sex before marriage, I do however think that chastity and celibacy are symbols of strength in a man. I practice celibacy and I find that my mind and body become stronger the more I abstain from sex and masturbation.
Girls love sex just as much as men do, they never say it so that they can continue to use sex as a weapon and a tool of manipulation. The longer you wait, the easier it is to resist, and because you aren't controlled by the possibility of having sex women are incapable of manipulating you.
To answer your question, yes, it is strange to desire to be chaste, but to be your own person and not follow the masses is strange as well.
