We've been emailing for several weeks, then decided to IM. I think that both of us are so 'shy' that it took us a week for someone to say the first 'hello.' Lol. Since then we've had about 10 chats, and each time, I'm the one who ends up saying hi first. Why is this? We had some good chats getting to know one another, a good phone conversation the other night. Now she's on Messenger and knows I'm on, since 5 this evening (the past 4 hours) and, ot course, hopeful as I am that she'll actually initiate a chat even ONCE, am waiting. A couple of times I waited HOURS before finally breaking down and saying hi. Tonight I decided I'm not going to be the first to start, no matter how long (by the way, I'm always on the computer because of my job, and she's on the computer most of the day and night). So what do you think? Am I being immature or too sensitive? Picky? If she's truly interested in me, can't I expect her to be the first to say hello at least ONCE??!! Sheesh!

im dating this girl i love. and everything was going really great. her dad wasnt that bad. he wanted me to tell him when i would be back and where i was going and stuff but thats understandable and reasonalbe. and it was not big deal. but lately hes been WAY to protective. i mean he past over protective. i mean he BUGED her cell phone and always calls my mom to see where i am. and it goes on.....im sick of it.i need some air. i feel like i cant make a move without him knowing. i tryed talking to him but i dont want to say something dumb and get my gf in trouble i mean she has to live with him.
how do i get him to stop??how do i get him to understand that im not going to do anything bad with his daughter??
and for the ones thats going to say "let her go" or "find someone esle" im not going to do that i love her too much......

My best friend is always talking about "Murder she wrote..always" then last weekend when we were camping...he tells me that he fantasizes about her...and I think he went into his tent and rubbed one out...I would say he was joking but...he has posters and her workout video and he emails her web site...this seems like a long way to take a joke...he is only 31...and I think she is about 100...should I get him counsiling?

dating a guy for a couple of months. he just announced he just booked a last minute vacation with a friend. the friend is a female. I asked him about her, he said she's just a close friend. I don't know if i'll be able to get over this but I don't know if I should break it off now either. i'm hurt, confused and disappointed.

The reason why I ask that question is because I honestly never been confronted and I do not know what to expect from a white man so I don't think my question is wrong. That's why I'm on here to get some type of ideal of what to expect. Yes, it is stereotype sadly to say. Black women shouldn't be afraid to talk to white men because we think white men want us for our p.... just like White women shouldn't be afraid to talk to black men because they don't want black men to think they want them for their dyck. Again it is sad that so many people are stereotype. We tend to believe what we hear from the media.or people period.

okay recently i got a job and i got hired but they said they are gonna call me up for orientation but am still waiting for the call...but meanwhile i found a BETTER job...so my question is: do i call the previous one and tell them that i am no more intrested(but am afraid cause they might get mad at me for not telling them
that in the first place).....OR when they call me up for the orientation..i should not go???(does that tell him am no more intrested)?

saw someone you love like a brother/sister with someone that wasn't his/her wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend? I saw my fiance's sister at a local fast food place with a man who is not her boyfriend. They were in a booth on the same side feeding each other fries. She got ketchup on the corner of his mouth, wiped it off, and sucked it off your finger. When she saw me looking she just stared at me with this "Oh, sh*t!" look on her face. Should I tell her boyfriend, ask my fiance to talk to her boyfriend, tell her she needs to tell her boyfriend, or ask my fiance to tell her she needs to tell her boyfriend? i was in a relationship for 2 1/2 years where i can't even explain how close we were. he worked for my dad at one point, i basically lived with him and we felt like one person.. he was in the hospital for 5 nights at one piont and i spent every visiting minute with him that i could.. loved him deeply.
somewhere along the line the young and stupid side came in and we continually fought to the point where we broke up for good last april. i began seeing another guy and he has started seeing another girl last week. my new b/f is the best you could ask for.. soo sweet :-)! we began saying i love you to eachother, however, i still really care/love the old one!? i think the X feels similar to me but there is too much devestation there and the new one is excellent to me. what do i do!

i love this girl and we dated.but we broke up...not because we wanted to...because things was going really bad in both of our lives.ppl was againts us going out. and things like that. one day it got to us and we broke up. it was a bad break up...we talked for 3 hours knowing what the other was thinking...but anyways we still are friends but lately our feelings are coming back. when we are close to eachother our lips get close but she pull back before we kiss. and when we tonch her face turns red. and alot more things. i want to go back out with her. i mean things are better in our lives. so i was thinking of asking her out but then i thought what if the probs. come back what would happen to us then...another break up and also what if she thinks its to soon?? what should i do?

Theres a boy that I really like. His name is Max. Thats probably not important. Anywho, hes in my band class & I see him in the hallway on the way to my math class. a couple of times, hes looked over at me or has tried talking to me but..I dont know what to do back. Is it abnormal to not have a "serious" boyfriend until u get into college? Some of my peers think it is ok and others ask me whats wrong with me? All i am gonna say is i have a great personality and can be really funny and (in my mind) there is not something "wrong" with me, but i also know that perfection is imposible. I am just wondeirng if it is abnormal to not have a "serious" boyfriend befor goingto college?
