There is this girl, who I WAS pretty sure liked me. Last week she was hinting to me that she wanted to go out on a date with me, but I was slow and didn't ask her. Now, I'm kink of a cocky/funny guy (and this works well) so please don't tell me to just tell her how I feel, I really doubt this will help me much. So, yesterday, I asked her where she was going to take me this weekend, but I don't think she thought I was serious, since she said to the club (but we're in high school). I told her she had to come up with something better than that if she wanted to hang out with me, and she laughed. I won't see her again until Thursday, but I really want to do something with her this weekend. She jokingly told some friends (while I was around) that she would be taking me to prom. I turned awas and heard another girl ask her if she was serious, and I looked back just in time to see her shaking her head no, as if she didn't want me to hear her. I still think she likes me, but I'm not as sure now

okay. i have liked this girl for about four years. and she is always flirting with me. when i asked her out she said she would if she broke up with her bf. she has recently broken up with him. and ....well...we arent going out. i like this girl from the depths of my heart and i would like her to see that it is more than a physical thing. should i try to persue her? and if so, how should i go about persuing?

If you recieve a hug, that's warm and soft, pelvic neither far nor close. If the distance is extremely closed, the surrounding is closed off from people. If the eyes make contact before and after for a over 3 seconds, and if the hug lasts 4 seconds.
I'm slightly curious and interested if there are any other kind of hugs.
This question is also slightly connected. What does it mean/purpose/outcome of when a someone holds you by your waist when dancing and gives it a slight gentle and warm hold?

I started to like this best friend of mine three months ago. Finally I decided to ask her out. Today I was talking to a best friend of ours on the phone, and she told me that her (the girl I like) friend told her about this guy who liked her, so she got excited and gave it a try, but ended up separated because the guy was being non-Christian-like. Since she has suffered from it once, I'm not sure if she'll have the same reaction to me when I tell her I like her that way. Is she still willing to give it a try? Any help is appreciated!

wat do u guys think it means.. i was talking 2 this guy 4 a week,we made out after 1week.yesterday we were talking about it... i asked him if he was liking me and he said he was but he had "other this on his mind. that he had to put in first place." like school.... b/c he needs more credits to graduate. do u guys think its just an excuse? does he like me? or is he liking what i look like and just trying to "hit it?" =[ help!

Hi, I'm 17 and I broke up with my girlfriend about two years ago. We were together for a year and a half. I still think about her every day - it's driving me insane, especially since she's had several other boyfriends since then and rarely talks to me. I've only seen her once in the last two years.

I don't like the person she is now - she's not the same person. But I can't stop thinking about the old her, day in and day out. Everything that shouldn't affect me reminds me of her...

I haven't liked another girl since. Is this normal?? I just can't compare anyone else to her. She was amazingly beautiful, very intelligent, very caring - in other words, she was pretty much out of my league.

I'm not the most confident guy - I have trouble talking to people in my classes, especially the girls. It's not that I'm ugly or anything - it's just my personality, I guess.

Anywho, my question is: When will I ever get over her? And how long did it take for you to get over your first love? Thanks...

This has been happening the past couple of months. She started working out and is always worried about the way she looks. She perfers to spend time with her friends instead of me. Come home until 3 or 4am and says she fell asleep at her friends house. Does not answer her cell phone when I call her. She says she didn't get the call or didn't hear her phone. Never kisses me anymore and rarely has sex with me anymore. Am I being parinoid or do you think she is cheating?

I knew a girl at an old part time job of mine. She and I were always friendly, polite to one another. She left for school, then she came back and I saw her about a year later, and she remember who I was and we caught up briefly. Next time I saw her, I asked her out and she said yes. But it went quiet and I asked for her number and I was a little caught off guard because she always seemed interested in me, but here she was kind of rolling her eyes and saying "I have an apt now" and not being straightforward and saying "I don't have my phone with me, why don't you give me your number" and I did. But as I expected, she didn't call.

That same store she worked at, I had to return something there and she was there and she said hi to me, and I didn't really talk to her, I wanted to get someone else's help, then she goes over to her friend and starts talking to her as soon as Im tended to by someone else.
