Do something romantic. Like put it in a cupcake or take him out to a nice dinner and give it to him them. Or you can go out to dinner and we you get back home give it to him when you are alone maybe looking up at the stars or something.

My boyfriend did this to me once and it just threw me for a loop. I still wonder how he pulled it off. He put my ring in the box on the x-mas tree as an ornament for three days and I never found it. He had to give me clues. He made it look like one of those boxes you made in grade school with the poem that said there's love inside, you can even put the poem on there. He hide it right in the front of the tree and it was so sweet to find it. He'll think it's an ornament.
