Singles & Dating - 29 October 2006

Ok. So, my two best freinds, Elizabeth and Jordan, and I are the three most popular people in a my highschool freshman class. It's a small school so everyone is in everyone's buisness. One of my guy freinds Andrew likes girls for their bodys but doesnt admit it. He likes me when Jordan isn't around but when she is, he's obsessed with her. Then another guy freind, whom I like, Daniel, doesnt like me but he is my freind's, Jordan's ex-"boyrfiend" (didn't really date), and so that's complicated. So Andrew says i'm really mean but I always try to change and he says that Jordan has really changed, but she got even more self centered and he always tells me to take other people's feelings into consideration. I NEED HELP!!

I have nothing against the white race at all considering a lot of my friends are white. My question is hard to explain. For one, in school, there are a lot of interracial couples. However, most of them are a black guy with a white girl. Not once have I seen a black girl with a white guy. I know they exist. I have seen it before, just not as common. What is it white girls have that black men love? I know not all feel this way, but for those of you that do, what is it? If you feel another way, please express your opinion.
This is a study for school. Keep in mind this is not to offend anyone.

During the summer I started working at the movies and I met this really cute guy. I was really feeling him but scared of being rejected. Long story short he was feelin me to and on my last day at the job he asked me to a movie. It was so left field I thought he was joking. We got close and the first night on the phone we talked till like four the next morning. I gave my parents play by play info so they'd be clued in. So one day he was suppose to come to church but since he doesn't have a car and his mom was going some where else, I asked my dad to go get him and he was like no. Then they started using that against him. Then my moms went to the theater where I use to work and found out he had braids. All of a sudden she was against him. When b4 he was the best thing since sliced bread. Anyway we've been sneaking for about 5months but I don't wanna anymore. All I get is phone calls. So I called and left an irate msg on his machine. I think I broke his heart. What should I do?

then this girl (Jenna) was taking pics of me her and him and he was in the middle so yea and then all of the sudden he lays his head on mine!

We knew each other from before but started dating for 5 months now. His kind and a great friend, but as BF material, he confuses the F#@K of me! One week his into me calling me and wanting to see me and the next his abit distant and kind of cold and this goes on and on in a circle. I'm not the nagging type and I hate saying why dont you do this and that!
He says to give him time and he'll warm up to things. I feel like Im the man in the relationship really, I pay and enitiate all our outings and stuff and he hardly includes me in his things. I dont know if his like this coz his confortable with me as we use to be mates before we went romatic. I tried talking to him but Im not sure if his confused or just likes to be alone alot of the time and when he wants to be with me then he puts in the effort. I met this guy off of a dating site, he took his profile off there after we met, but when I asked him why he did that he said I never got any messages from anybody. I've known him almost 2 years now, and he knows me quite well, when he found out I liked him he freaked and said he only liked me as a friend, but later on he gave me one of those virtual hugs and roses and a heart one time, and he said, I can't do this, you're too young, hes a little older than me. and he calls me lovely, and pretty a lot, but he acts funny, I just don't know, its too hard for me to tell, and I don't want my mom to know just yet about this because I met my ex the same way, I really like him a lot, what do you guys think?

There is this friends on my that used to flirt with me in high school. One time and I give it to him, since I like him too. About a year a a half later I went to his college for a semester and I saw him again. We talked for a little while, later he mentioned about the kiss we had before and propose to have another one, and I accepted. In the afternoon I sended him a text message saying "You left me unfocus", then he responded with a text message saying. "No more kisses ok, friends only, ok." and I was fine with it. We talk and decided our friendship is very important and that we will not take it beyond that. We saw each other as if nothing have happened, he seemed a little distant with me though. However three days ago, we saw each other again, we talk for a while, (this time he wasn't distant) and he ask me for a kiss again!!! Wasn't he the one who said no more. By the way I did not kiss him this time but I wasn't rude with him either. What is going on with him? What should I do?

Is my body language conveying some wrong message?

Do the girls insecure? Or do they feel some sort of guilt, knowing that Muslims approve of modesty rather than skin flashing.

I actually have to tell them to relax and "I'm not looking there" for them to feel at ease.

I'm a bearded Muslim and I look directly into people's eyes when talking.

What do you think?

My daughter is currently 16 and has a steady boyfriend of 7 months. She recently came to me and said she plans on having sex with her boyfriend soon. I am extremely glad that she felt comfortable coming to me with this matter but was completely unprepared for it. I was in a similar situation at her age and I feel that I made the wrong choice... I became pregnant with her shortly after my 16th birthday and raised her as a single parent. She knows about this but said she still wants to have sex. I told her it's up to her and her boyfriend but that she should wait until marriage at which point she said "Why? You didn't" I am completely lost at what to tell her, so I guess the question is should teens be having sex at such a young age? Any suggestions on what to tell her? (seeing as personal experience is not a good basis)

I met someone online YEARS ago.It wasnt until the past month or so we started talking on a regular basis. It was then that I lied about who I was, what I looked like really. I used a picture of a relative instead of revealing my true self because I was ashamed of my looks at this point in life. When I fessed up, EVERYTHING changed immediately. He no longers calls or ims me, emails are like pulling teeth, and now I am leaving the state to live with family in the south due to this and other issues. I have no clue what to do. Person A: Someone with whom you feel the world melt with their kiss and they treat you like the man/woman you deserve to be treated like but they are not a good provider. Just say this person keeps pressuring you to have a child yet quits a new job about every few weeks and it leaves you both unsteady on paying your bills and always on the move.

Person B: This person is cute bot not very sensitive nor has much of a clue about how to treat the opposite sex (sometimes hurts your feelings) but is a great provider, holding down steady work, taking you and your family on fun outings and is great with children.
