he is my so-and-so boyfriend?

Like I was talking to a girl the other day who flirts with me a lot, I flirt back, I don't know if I would date her but she's cute enough. Then she gets a phone call and says it's from her boyfriend in Israel (we live in NY BTW).

I have no problem with her having a boyfriend, but why does she qualify it like that.

Another girl I use to talk to did the same thing, while she was in the army she would tell me that "oh my boyfriend in the army said this." When she came home she acted like she wanted to date me, and I was confused.

So I want to know when women say my boyfriend 'over there' what does that mean, are they just playing a lot of guys or is that their real boyfriend.

So I go on dates with guys and everything goes well, but I just haven't 'felt it', you know? Theres absolutely nothing wrong with these guys, they're great to tell you the truth, but there just isn't that spark there or a connection, or whatever you want to call it. So then I don't go back out on dates with them. So heres the question...I know that this is fairly normal, but when I meet my match, it'll be there, right? I mean the connection, the spark...I'll recognize it, won't I? In the last five years, I've only felt that with one person and I'm just kind of afraid that its a once-in-a-lifetime thing and that it won't happen as easily or as instantly as before.

Am I passing on these guys when I should really just give them another chance? I'm still going out and having fun and all...so don't worry about that...but is this really a one-time thing or am I worrying for no reason?

Thanks!!! ;)

I've been dating this guy for over a month now and he doesn't know that I'm a virgin. He's coming over to my place on Friday night and Im pretty sure he thinks he's going to get some. We like eachother alot, and its not like im planning on being a virgin until i get married. I just need to be sure that he's the right guy before I sleep with him. What should I do? How would he react?

Clothes wise, what look most impresses you from a lad on a night out of pub with a pub/club after.
Your not gonna see a bloke in a suit on those sort of nights but what look catches your eye.

The girl is 16 years old and we are at the same school. I speak with her in msn 1 hour per day but in school we have not something to say. She is smiling to me at school sometimes and i smile to her too. I ask her : what do u want to do a boy for u who love u? and she answear to me : He must tell me that he love if he love me. And i said : but if the girl said no ? she answear : Ask the girl to learn becauce if u don't something u will not learn if she loves u? We are sitting in the same desk at school for 2hours a week because we are at the same room for 2hours. Furthermore, we want to pass in the same subject in university (architect). Help me ... what i can do to show her that i (like)! her ? I love her but i want to learn first if she likes me ?

Why would you put single on MySpace when that person has a boyfriend and considers him as her "baby?" I don't think that is respecting the boyfriend...I've asked a few friends of mine and they say that its wrong and if they really care they would have changed the status to in a relationship. What do you guyz think? THANK YOU!

from kindergarden all the way through 7th grade i had a crush on this boy from church and he had a crush on me, everybody knew it, and everybody would tease us about it. well i moved and changed churches and i didn't see him anymore. recently we have been talking online and he asked for my phone number and said we should hang out sometime and stuff like that, also we have never really done anything outside of church except like 7 times and they were mainly partys. i was wondering if you think he still likes me.

also it has been at least a year since i have even seen him

We call other women sl*ts because they are sleeping with two men at once and yet some of us have done even worse. WE call men perverts because they prefer big breasted women instead of women with average ones. How can we sit and judge each other and not feel the slightest bit guilty for saying some of the ugly things we do? I can honestly say I've been guilty many times over...but am I sorry??? NOPE...LOL. How about you???

I'm feeling a little philosophical today.....and I'm sure I'm going to get some slams for this question. The mind is just wandering I suppose......

the way i got him was ok i bit unsafe, i went on wap on my mobile phone and was on the chat rooms chatting he is 26 and I'm 18. he is really sweet we started speaking on the 30th of august and on the 3rd of September he said there is no point to this unless we met up. i was really scared i live on the isle of wight and he lives in London. and i really wanted a guy i didn't tell my parents until i was on the boat going over to Southampton, i was so scared on the train up there as i stood out side the train station waiting for him to meet me, then this guy came round the corner looked abit familiar so i said hello slowly then he goes tracey me and him were completely scared but we knew we liked each other before we had seen each other, we spoke first of all it was just a matter of trust that he was the person he said he was. my family said i was really fragile because i have never had a boyfriend before and never took a train and never been to london either but then that night i was to scared to come home on my own on the train so he drove me all the way down to southampton, then we both decided that he would get on the boat to and drive me to my house i had upset my family alot but i wanted to take him home to show them that he was safe to be around and he came down every weekend ever since and now im moving in with him so really you can find true love on chat rooms and i am that proof,

I've been officially dating my boyfriend for 3 months now. About 2 weeks ago he "slipped" and said "I love you", I said nothing and let it slide. I know that I love him and I want to tell him, but I don't want to scare him. I've been engaged before and thought I knew what love was, it was nothing compared to this time around. He's my perfect match. Help!!!

We met a week or so ago when a little drunk, swapped mobile numbers and have emailed a couple of times - but we're meeting tonight for a first proper date. I've recently come out of a long relationship (about 3 months ago) and haven't dated for 3 years now, so I'm a bit out of the game! Any suggestions for do's and dont's??

A bloke I know and really get along with (you know, the same sense of humour, similar personalities) has asked me out. He's a top bloke in everyway and I really want to say yes. But my best friend has had a major thing for him for nearly 5 years now and though she hasn't really done anything about it, we all know isn't too keen on the idea of anyone of her friends liking him in the same way she does. I just don't know what to do. Should I risk losing my friendship to spend more time with this amazing bloke or should I just be happy with knowing that he likes me and making puppy eyes at him across a bar but keep my best friend?

well my friend Belle likes this guy Colton, she thinks that he likes her too.I don't know if he does and no he didn't ask me out, but I'm going on here to see if someone could help her,but she don't know that I did this, so anyway he is always hanging around her, playing with her hair, and doing all this stuff that makes both of us think that he likes her as more than a friend. The only problem is that he has a gf, and his girlfriend is Belle's best friend. She thinks when him and Kate(gf) break up that he might ask Belle out and she doesn't want to say yes because she thinks that might make her a s1ut. So I guess my question would be is, if your "crush" breaks up with his gf then asks you out, would that make you a s1ut?(Let me remind you that his gf is her bf)

But the way I know he talks to other people makes me think that he believes everyone is more attractive than me. Am I just ugly, or what's his game and y is he playing it? Y bother to lie. If he doesn't want me, y won't he say that? We're not sleeping together, so y is it so important that he keep me around? What am I missing?

I am Canadian and he is American we met while I was living in Atlanta. I knew and so did he instantly that I we really liked each other. Circumstances which were beyond my control forced me to move back to Toronto Canada due to the complex and strict changes to immigration and visas. I was very hurt and angry and left without explaning the whole situation, cause I thought it was too much of a burden to put on him. I have since contacted him and we now keep in touch thorough email and phone conversations. He tells me how he tried to find me, his friends and family loved me and always asked where I was. We have talked about marriage and children.

I know that I do not want to make the U.S. my permanent residence. I would like to manintain a residence in canada as well so that we can enjoy the best of both worlds. 6 mths the the length of time the U.S. allows Canadians to enter without any visas but cannot work. I am currently obtaining my real estate license. Can this be done?
