So you are going on a trip... Big deal... are you leaving the country forever??????
If you are taking a short jaunt, enjoy yourself and don't worry so much.
let him know when you are going and when you'll be back. Tell him you'll miss him, but you are going to have a great time.... end of story...
You don't owe him any other explanation.....

well if you are going away for lkegit reasons then it should not be a problem. if you have been with this guy for a short time and made the plans before meeting him, it also should not be a problem, as it is a prior engagement or obligation. If you have been with him for a long time and made the plans without his knowlkedge for whatever the reason, then there is a problem anyway, as any relation ship needs honesty, and communication, and I *KNOW* if he did this to you, the question would have been, "OH, my god, my b/f is going on this trip, without me, and he never even told me, doesnt he love, etc..." so lets not go there. If you are going away for NONlegit reason, ditto the same answer as fore-mentioned, and I hope that brutal answers will snap you out of your selfishness. Just talk to the man you are having a relationship with, and if you cant talk to him then why are you with him, exactly????

tell him That you are taking a little trip for a few days no big deal If he loves you he well under stand. unless its him you are trying to get away from! if so tell him you need a little time to your self. If your just going to begoing bring him something back?

well whats this "little trip" ? .... and why do you act like its something that will break his heart?
Either way you have to tell him.... if its just a trip and you disapear for a week...you are oging to get back and he is going to be pissed off and worried. If its something that has to do with another guy well...best tell him now.

How long is a "little trip"? Tell him you've enjoyed your time with him and you hope to keep in touch while you are away- and hopefully you can meet back up when you return.

How long will you be gone? I would just tell him - just go over to talk to him one on one and let him know -- if he really cares for you he will wait - if not maybe he is not the best one for you!
