Clothes wise, what look most impresses you from a lad on a night out of pub with a pub/club after.
Your not gonna see a bloke in a suit on those sort of nights but what look catches your eye.

I don't think it is exactly what he has on, I think it is the neatness of the package. If he looks well put together, and clean then that is a good thing. Someone that takes the time to look nice, and is confident and outgoing turns a girls eye. And when he walks by if he smells good too, forget about it.
since we are giving examples....
A pressed button up shirt (get that I said pressed not wrinkled)untucked , with a t-shirt underneath and pair of jeans or khakis that are not to tight not to baggy(pants that accentuate his body type), with a pair of nice shoes(not tennis shoes). Hair styled and a good cologne(calvin klien, curve, or something of that nature)

I'm not into the metro-sexual shtick, so anything manly--even if slightly over the top, really catches my eye. I'm also into the 'dark' look, but not overdone (too many chains and shinies, eyeliner on a man). Leather pants never hurt, but not the sort that say 'I'm a gay cowboy' (ie; anything resembling chaps on a man who isn't obviously a biker). My current lover catches a lot of female attention by wearing black leather pants, black boots (boots of any kind are generally a plus), a nice shirt and black vest. Vests are very flattering--they somehow double in purpose... they're slimming to bigger men, and they amplify the chest and shoulders of skinnier blokes.
Side note; because of some lines of work (professional, office jobs) some men can't help it, but if you've got a choice, long, groomed hair says virility and sophistication, and facial hair says 'manly'... at least to me. ;)

Everyone's different i suppose but personally i like a nice pair of jeans and a shirt. Nothing too patterned though... oh and plenty of aftershave. Theres nothing better than standing in a bar and getting a wiff of gorgeous aftershave. That'll get you looks straight away.... Good luck on the pulling front x x x

As long as you look clean and confident, you should be fine! A guy in just a good pair of jeans with a nice button up shirt would do it for me. Definitely no suits! Good luck

a bright color...a button down shirt, stripes, black or ligh coloured pants, look quite sharp...try not to look like every other guy and stand out from your mates! you know women are crazy about a sharp dressed man...i love a man with a proper head of hair..some sort of styling product in it...women will notice if you make even a little effort....
Here in Florida men mostly wear jeans and t shirts...it's dreadfull...especially the hawwian ones! hehe

Personally, I usually prefer a nice fitting t-shirt to a shirt, and a good pair of jeans.
Just don't wear a pink shirt- seriously, I don't know any girl who likes them. You will cut your chance of pulling significantly.

White shirt or t-shirt and blue jeans. Black shirt or t-shirt and black trousers or jeans. Smart not tatty. Shoes or boots not trainers. And if you know you look good, try and act like you're unaware of it - makes it even more attractive!

Starched and ironed. Whether he's in a suit or jeans, he needs to look sharp. Personally, I go for jeans, boots, and T-shirt. It is relaxed.

smart casual - maybe a nice pair of jeans, and tight t-shirt to show off that bod!!
no jacket - what girl wants a wimp!? lol
and footwear is VERY important.. make sure footwear is smart, clean and trendy!

oh, and DON'T tuck your shirt into your jeans - a suggested above... it's looks so ridiculous!!!!
