Well, he's committed to pleasuring himself.. I mean he's going out and seeking other's company...

Generally when someone says they are afraid to commit, they either
A) were never serious about you to begin with and thought you'd be a good diversion from being alone. (Using you)
B) were once attracted to you, but changed their mind once they got to know you better. (mistook lust for love)
C) sincere appreciation for a fine young lady and then decided that the relationship was taking too long to develop. (horny and couldn't get into your pants as quickly)
D) immature for his age and can't make a decision to save his life. (idiot who doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground and therefore can't commit because he doesn't know what he really wants. Lucky you.)

Mostly, I think what you need to focus on is that he's not committed to YOU. Move on, find a better guy that will love you for you... Don't worry about looking back on this guy, he's like a turkey in a blast furnace... Burnt to a crisp... He's past being done.

He is not afraid of committment, he is just horny like 99.9% of all men. The bottomline is that he isn't ready to settle down yet. If you are still hanging around with him and know that he is hooking up with others then you'd better be cool with it too. He is also mentally challenging you to see how far he can go before you will leave him.

the question is why are you afraid to let go?

If he's cheating then you are not what he's looking for, accept it and move on. I know it hurts but seriously, show a little self respect. No one deserves to be treated that way.

Well he might just be afraid of commitment. If he is cheating on you either it means he doesn't like you like that or he is afraid.

The only thing he is afraid of is being a real man and telling you that he just isnt ready to settle down. Dump him! Hes not worth it and I am sure you are worth a lot more !!!!

Say goodbye, if he's gonna cheat you don't need him. Try reading the book he's just not that into you. He's playing and using that stupid saying as an excuse and it's not even a good one

Cheating how? Are you married, living together, dating...what?

Need more information...

If he wants to date others, then make it a two way street...see how that goes. Don't limit yourself to a 'relationship' if there is none.

Good luck!

You do what you have to but he obviously is not ready for the kind of relationship you are. He seems pretty immature to say that.
