he is my so-and-so boyfriend?
Like I was talking to a girl the other day who flirts with me a lot, I flirt back, I don't know if I would date her but she's cute enough. Then she gets a phone call and says it's from her boyfriend in Israel (we live in NY BTW).
I have no problem with her having a boyfriend, but why does she qualify it like that.
Another girl I use to talk to did the same thing, while she was in the army she would tell me that "oh my boyfriend in the army said this." When she came home she acted like she wanted to date me, and I was confused.
So I want to know when women say my boyfriend 'over there' what does that mean, are they just playing a lot of guys or is that their real boyfriend.

she is looking for a lil fun close to home. I doubt there will be anything serious as she doesnt seem to commit. If she wants a boyfriend that far away she should be able to be faithful or break it off

I would say that she is interested in you, but doesn't know how you feel. It is a safe way for her to approach you. If your not interested she has the excuse of having a boyfriend to make it seem as though it wouldn't matter. Still a little shady!

she wants variety just like guys do at times. She cares for you but never think that u are the only. it is best summarized as a friend with benefits. If your uncomfortable with it just say so.

Yes. it means that they have a boyfriend and it their relationship might not be that tight so it is a chance that they might get with someone else.

she just wants the attention, plus she know it drives u nuts knowing u can't have her. girls like guy freinds that like them. they use it to their advantage.
