Singles & Dating - 10 October 2006

So, I recently started dating someone I vaguely knew in high school. We're both close to 40 now. I've never been married and she is recently divorced. We started talking on the phone and things have progressed very quickly. I haven't really had anything to distrust her about and I am thinking about marriage down the road. I know her past relationships have been rocky, due to her low self esteem and bad choices in men. She spent the last few years cleaning up her life and getting out on her own. She says that I'm different than any guy she ever knew before. Part of me wants to just go with it, but another part says "check out her past!".

my homecoming date has a bad reputation for asking out and getting rejected by nearly every girl in school. we're friends, and we went to the dance as friends, but at both the dance and game he was getting way too close and putting his arm around me and touching my face and back (and my friends too, but mostly me) and picking me up and he wouldnt leave me alone.
he seems kind of sweet, (most of the time) but becasue of his reputation and other things (above) im not sure if i should even consider going out with him.
he went to the dance in a limo (yeah, a lot much for freshman homecoming) with some of our other friends, and his friend told me that he turned down making out with this other girl in the limo, but my friend tells me that he was trying to make out with her.
based on what ive said about the guy is my friend telling the truth, and does this guy like me or does he just want a girlfriend?

I have an EXTREMELY attractive ex-bf. we went out for a long time i broke up it im cuz EVERYONE said they saw him cheatin but it turned out not to be true but i couldnt get over myself and ask him to go back out. so then my BEST FRIEND went out wit him...they broke up about 3wks-1mnth ago because he had to move. he called me from his new place sayin how he never shoulda went out wit my friends cuz he has feelins for me. now hes back and i think he likes me still but my friend is still all over him cuz she thought they were still goin out and she found out the truth today and was sad n stuff but then when i told her i still like him she was ALL over him AGAIN...so i was wonderin if i should still date him...

its a web relationship. i think i spelled it right (polyamorous). i would never do such a thing and i am not against it even though i dont think its right. im women enough to get everything done on my own, i dont need another women to complete the fulfillment of my mans needs... I have this constant date for 8 months now....and I'm just curious if he is falling inlove with me..so funny coz everything started in a one night stand and we have agreed that everything will just be a one night stand. my gf left me a month ago, reason is i got her prengent,i want to take responable of her and take care of her but the baby couldn't be kept due to madical reason, so at the end of the day, we decided to go for abortion, after the abortion she say she need to cool down, so i had no chioce but to let her go, mean while i did do my best to show care and be there for her, give her everything she need, after a while , she came back to me, but she just can't forgive herself and me for killing a life, so she left me again, she say she really need time to cool down and get things over, meanwhile while she get things over, she did try to build up our relationship between use, but i mess up, so now i got to build this relationship up again, she say she still got feeling for me, what should i do, i really want her back and take care of her , please help me

Do other single moms feel lonely and is it right to want to just get together for sex and not any thoughts of a realationship. After all moms need attention to.. and i am really picky about who i want for a realatiolnship and potential male role in the home.. whereas i would be less picky and have lots of opportunity for just sex from guys who would not really be worthy male role canidates or serious relationship types.. that would take care of my lonliness and physical needs. I of course would meet them outside of the children's knowledge and outside the home. I am however having huge moral issues about as i was raised religious.. what do you yahoo people think? Also what do guys think about this .. is it fair to the guys that i am in a sense just using to meet my physical need?

The reason was because I wasn't giving him enough attention that week because I was stressed out over having a cyst on my ovary that was possibly causing pain during intercourse. I told him I needed to find out what was going on first before we have sex again. So I had his password from myspace and decided to look at it and found out that he was talking to a girl that wanted just sex and nothing more.....he didn't cheat but it sounds like he was about to until I confronted him.....should I break up with him or give him another chance? He says he has changed for me because he loves me. In his past he has cheated on almost all his girlfriends and they have cheated on him too...
