I have the feeling that I may be taking the wrong approach to dating because I always end up with the wrong type of guy. I think he's ok and then a few months later, his true colors show, and they are usually ugly (aka, he's not what he seemed). Is there a technique or method to attract a truly good guy? or am I just wasting my time trying to find one? Feeling clueless here!

I am almost to the point of giving up on dating/finding a decent guy who will love and respect me because of the crappy relationships I've been in. Why do I keep on staring at the girl I think is beautiful? and when she catches me looking at her, I just look away. What would a girl think in her point of view? I have talked to her in class though. I seriously need help. What would you do if you were me? First of all, I know I need to stop staring at her. Maybe I can lie to her if she asks why did I stare at her like I can say, I wasn't staring, I was looking at the wall that is like 10 feet away from you and I was also wondering is that the girl from my class??? should you Not tell a new guy about your previous experience? Anotherwords, would it make you appear as a weak person or as someone with 'problems'? Overall, is it better to keep this to yourself. so theres this guy at my work that i've known for almost 2 1/2 years. You can say were okay friends, but he would always flirt with me while at work. He'd ask me for hugs, mess around with me, call me sweet names.
