I met a guy about 3 weeks ago and I instantly fell in love with him. He was our teacher, who then was replaced by a woman who teaches us now. It was like a lightning struck and I thought he liked me too. Then we once met on the street and I asked him to write a science work with me. We were to meet today. So we met today and he critisized my work and he was only talking about work (and I so hoped he'd ask me out or something) and I understood there could be nothing between us. And I so believed this was my perfect relationship, my perfect romance! He just didn't seem to care and he wasn't even glad to see me when I came for the meeting. And I dreamt of going to museams and cinemas together and talking to each other - not doing the stupid work. I looked at him and couldn't see the person I fell in love with. And though I was scared of today, I had hope. Now it's dead. He was an illusion, someone I didn't know. He looked at me and couldn't get it why I was so upset. I'm disgusted.

The only reason my son is in prison is because, as they were getting off of the school bus when he was 17 years old, he had to protect his girlfriend and himself from a maniac running at them with a knife, and the guy had every intention of hurting or killing both of them, so, my son beat the **** out of the guy, but my son was the one who got arrested....for self defense!! Go figure!! So, if someday, you are faced with a similar situation, what would you do? Let the guy kill you???

I have met a very nice lady almost the same age as me. The problem is I feel very unhappy when I am not with her. As we are both in our 60's I should not be feeling like a teenager. I don't think she feels the same about me just looks on me as a friend.. I will never try to make it anything more for risk of offending her and losing the friendship. She has been divorced many years same as me and we both have grown up children

OK!! last night my boyfriend went out to his friends birthday party thing(his friend turned 30) and he was like we're not gonna stay late b/c we all have to work ealry in the morning. so.. im thinkin he might leave around 10-1030.. so i was like why didnt you call me and let me know that you were gonna do that? he's like "i was in a rush" so im like you couldnt take 1 min out of your time and call me? and he's like i dont know.. so!! after wards.. i expected him to call me around 1030.. and he didnt.. so i called him and he didnt answer. and he called me back 5 mins after and i knew he was at a bar b/c i heard loud music. so i asked him what he was doing and he told me that they all decided to go to the bars for his friends b-day.. so im like ok why didnt you call me again? and he's like b/c we were lookin for the bar and i was like well you could of called me before you left. so he stayed out till 1 n didnt call till this mrning and said sorry to me.. what should i do?

Went out on a date last night with a guy who told me, "yeah I don't really workout but I'm not fat or anything", this was after I told him I am really into being healthy, active guys who workout and stuff. A couple of days ago I asked a question regarding sending flowers to someone I didn't even know, and got some very nice responses. Well she got them and text messaged me about 4 times yesterday. Telling me how sweet it was that I did & that I made her day. Sorry to say she has a boyfriend already, but was very very flattered at what I had done. Am I sorry I sent her the flowers? Hell no, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Well lol at least I made someone's day a little brighter. Again thanks for all the kind responses out there.

Have just started going with this guy I've known for years, he's just come out of a 4 year relationship, so we both agreed it would just be a bit of fun. We get on really well, and have only just slept together after meeting and chatting for the last 2 months. My bf broke up w/ me 2 weeks ago. He broke up w/ me. I figured I'd given him some time so yesterday I walked over to his house and apologized and basically poured my heart out to him. When I left, I felt so much better. Not that I thought we'd get back together, but because I've always felt like there's nothing worse than words left unsaid. Last night I find out that he was telling all his friends that I came over and was asking why he won't talk to me anymore (in a real whiny voice) and asking for us to get back together. It was a real personal conversation and he made a joke out of it. Men suck sometimes.

My son Patrick, is a caring, compationate person who is serving 3 years for probation violation, and it seems like I am the only one who has wrote to him in two years. He tells me it get's so lonely looking outside to see only fences and barbed wire, day in and day out. He asks me again and again to find someone to write to him, because it's so boring, and he promises to write back. He is not asking for help, just for some contact from the outside world! He is allowed pictures, but not poloroid, and printed pictures, five at a time, stamps and envelopes five at a time(if you want to send him that stuff) I am not asking you to send him stuff, I am just letting you know the rules of the prison.
