Went out on a date last night with a guy who told me, "yeah I don't really workout but I'm not fat or anything", this was after I told him I am really into being healthy, active guys who workout and stuff. Turns out, he is really not fat, but has a pot belly, you know dun laps disease and pants pulled up so high, he had male camel toe!! Why, why, why???? Why do they have to lie??

In my opinion, this guy was very interested in you and after your healthy comment, he wanted to impress you. These days, it seems its all about looks and not about the heart. Everyone wants to get laid, but no one wants to commit or love. He handled it wrong, but, you set him up for failure and to lie. If you're into guys who have an interest inworking out and body building, join a gym. If you want to be loved, open your heart and your eyes. The man you have dreamt of might be in the next McDonalds, on the bus, or walking past you everyday, adoring you secretly. Muscles don't take the place of devotion. Have you guessed yet that I am a romantic?

A little bs when first dating is healthy but did you happen to tell him you were visualy impaired or something did he think you wouldn't notice his lack of treadmill technique if he has the guts to call you back I think you should agree to a second date tell him to meet you at your gym at 5 am for a morning workout session that ought to scare chubo either that or he'll show up in spandex eewww

Please...lying about the condition of your body is far from the exclusivity of men. Get over yourself and look a little beyond the physical. Sometimes a valuable prize is wrapped in newspaper.

You have found the wrong date. Some guys do not feel comfortable about talking about self-image issues. Some have not grown up. Also, you need to grow up too. Remember, it is not what is in the outside, but what is in the inside that counts.

That must have been a blind date sweetie. I work out and meet plenty of sharp chicks at the gym. Maybe you should see what you're getting before going out on a date, if all you're into is looks.

My real name is Otpyr C. T. S. Igoloxes hence the reason I used my yahoo ID instead.

Both men and women lie. Get over it.

Did you pick this guy up online or something? I mean, how did you meet him? Because I wouldn't lie about something like that, so not all guys are fakes.

Perhaps because shallow girls would only meet him if he lied....

Maybe he was hoping that someone would see him as a nice guy despite being less than perfect.
