If you feel someone is bringing you down the problem is they are.I understand that sometimes circumstances demand that you do what you might not want to do.but understand this you need to stand up and take control enough is enough that's what it may take to motivate that person. thus helping you and them to have a much better life

Nothing is beyond your control when you are talking about your feelings and yourself. You control you no one else! If he doesn't do it for you then you have to tell him that, and move on. Maybe you two can be really good friends. Sometimes that is the way it is meant to be anyway, you just have to figure that, and you already have! Time to tell and move on, no matter what! You can't make someone else happy if you are not happy! Take control, becareful, and respect yourself and him!
Best of Luck to you!
Always Amy

Have you tried motivating this person to feel better about them self? Everyone needs a pick-me -up every now and then. Give em a chance and if nothing seems to work, move on.

Move on. If the circumstances are to great face them. If not handle them and get out. You will not be happy in the situation u are in.

i do, when all my loved ones didn't believe in my dream and gradually i develop self doubt. but through the reading of autobiographies of successful men i reelise they face such problem too. the most important thing is to keep positive at all time as life is full of ups and downs. u either want to do it or not. nothing too difficult when u harness that self belief in u.

Not been with like a boyfriend, but friends in the past. Same thing, I think..."Lie down with dogs, rise up with fleas". Cut your losses, and get a man who shares your ambition and passion in life.

Well im with a guy that is not as smart as me. He thinks he's smarter than me but nooo. He doesnt support me. So when he pisses me off i show him how smart i am and he usually ends up feelin dumb. Dont let any male bring you down! Let him kno whose boss.

You tried motivating him too, I bet. Hope you're not married. Just keep doing good stuff for yourself and your family, maybe something will change....
