Why does my ex-boyfriend who broke up with me 1.5 years ago when I moved away to college still call me? He has a new girl at home and tells me.."he is lonely" i don't think he wants to get back together because he has never mentioned it..he just always says he loves me...i am a corner in his life (i helped him get his career going)...and that he has strong emotions for me. we have talked every two weeks or so (he calls me) for the last two years and he comes to see me when i am in town. what are his intentions? i still love him and would love to get back together with him but never say it bc i get the vibe he wants me to have fun and enjoy college (i am seven years younger). GUYS: any advice on what my ex is thinking? why he keeps calling me? should i cut him off or not? will he ever call me again if i say i need time to be by myself and meet other people?i mentioned this to him and he got really sad and said he wouldnt call me anymore if i didn't want him too. any advice how he feels?

or am I being too hard on a guy? Every message from him is like decifering a code--missing and misspelled words and grammar so horrible it can give a person a headache! Improper grammar and spelling usage are my pet-peeves! To me, it shows laziness and irresponsibility on his part, two qualities I detest. Am I being fair or am I reading too much into this situation?

OK, this is my first q on Yahoo! Answers.

I got a job at a thrift store, and besides the backbreaking labor, it's a pretty good place to work. I have made many friends since I started there. I went to the local bar w/ one of them the other day after work to have a couple beers and unwind after a long day. There was an older gentleman at the bar who was quite drunk and was buying drinks for the patrons. Needless to say, I wound up pretty drunk at the nights end, so instead of driving the 12 miles to my house, I crashed on her couch. I told my gf about this the next day, and now she's convinced that I'm cheating on her. I asked her if she would rather I drove drunk, and she told me that wasn't the point. She said I shouldn't have stayed at her house even though her husband and kids were there as well. Am I wrong or is she just being a beep?

My bf's away for business trip to London for 2-3 mos. All my friends go "Gosh! aren't you worried that chad will cheat on you? i mean 3 mos is a long time. A hot man like him sure has lots english women surrounding him. he's always that popular. if i were you, i'd worry to death and tried not think about this. just have fun here!"

I trust him and i know him very well, but i can't stand my friends who keep saying something like that. they sound like i'm blinded by love.

it's been about 6 months since breaking up with someone i considered my "first love." we separated on good terms but of course, i still had the heartache of a failed relationship. we completely stopped talking which has helped me to move on and i am now dating again.

the problem is, what if one day i run into him or he decides to contact me? just the thought of it makes me emotional.. does that mean i still have feelings for him?

my best frend E proposed me.though i thot i didnt hv feelings for him,i said yes to not to hurt him.but then i relized tht i liked another guy A intensely.so i told this to E and he said ok and said tht we wud be frends if i wanted and i agreed .he still said tht he wud always hv feelings 4 me and i know he does still.now after a week or so i realized tht i had taken a very wrong decision and actually i had only an attraction towards A and i had been liking E ,none else. i told E tht the case is reverse. he didnt react to it.just being his normal self and not paying attention to me(only like a frend) and talks to other girls too too much even when he knows it hurts me.why didnt he react and why is he behaving so????pls help me out.

I have been on about three dates with this girl and well we click at an incredible level. I mean seriously. So earlier today, she broke down over the phone and began to cry, she had soo much stuff going wrong in her life and so i drove over to her house and picked her up. We were talking and she's like you're a great guy, but Im not ready for a relatonship, I don't wanna try for that yet. I don't want to bring it down with me, Im not ready, I just need a friend right now. So I said "Well, Im not going to lie and say Im not disappointed but, what type of person would I be to leave you hanging when you have no one in your life? I said ill be friend and if down the road a little bit something happens then so be it, if not then I guess it wasn't meant to be. I said lets just take things slow." So we talked for a long time tonight, she really opened up to me and told me things she hasn't ever told anyone.
The thing is I really, really dig this chick, did I do the right thing by waiting?

There is this girl that I have been frineds with for a while. I would say about three months. The situation is that my buddy and her were going out, but it tuns out that he is a no good piece of junk. He beat her one time and it turned into a restraining order on her part, Which she was awareded today. I think she is wonderful in all the right places. She is well organized, has a GREAT personality, Very smart, and has a good outlook on life and her own goals. On top of that, she is an extreamly beautiful young lady. She's 23 and i'm 21. I want her to know how I feel about her. I believe that she deserves someone like myself. Someone who will treat her like the queen that she really is. I also want her to know that I have the best intentions for her. I have a hard time going about doing this however. I want to take her out on a date sometime and show her a good time.
