I don't wanna be judgemental but did you ever knew of the saying" Birds of the same feather flock together" and it is always the people around you that molds your personality. His friends might influence him.. he might not be a cheater deliberately but he definitely will be in time, if he will continue to be with them and to let them influence his behaviour. If he condemns what his friends were doing and he has the courage to tell them to stop then it is 100 % sure that he wouldn't act like one but if he just let things be and even lie for his friends don't trust him that he won't..

There's nothing more influential than the people you hang with, be it men or women. BUT, if you really believe and have faith in him with all your trust, that question wouldn't be in the back burner would it? There has to be a reason why you might question his loyalty to you. If you have the slightest doubt in him, your best bet is to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. You surely do not need to get hurt. That being said, in any relationship always make sure you don't share ALL of your heart with him. ALWAYS keep a piece of your heart in your "hip-pocket". They can't hurt that.

Not necessarily. Think about all the people who were friends with serial killers or bank robbers. They aren't guilty by association and neither is your guy. A lot of girl friends that I've had cheated or slept around but that's never affected me. I think it depends most on the person... if they are strong and independent or if they are vulnerable to peer pressure and eager to fit in.

Yes to both questions. You are obviously bothered by his company. Tell him...let him know how insecure it makes you feel. Of course he will deny and cover his friends, but try and make him understand your feelings are real and you need him to try and understand. Relate to him that if he felt this way about any of your friends, what would he expect of you.
Remember...communication is the key. Try not to let it escalate into something ugly but you need to make your point.
Hopefully he will reciprocate and the two of you share your love and respect for one another and work it out.

Of course they will lie for him. And since they get by with it themselves, they probably lie pretty well. They might not encourage him to cheat, but sure they wouldn't discourage it either. I'm not a tramp, but i have a few friends who are. We go out alot and they do their thing.. and i do mine. Just becuz we hang together and have alot in common, doesnt mean that i have to do what they do. Men are different tho. dunno why, just are. I dont know what kind of man you have, but if you think something fishy is goin on or his story doesnt add up, please dont waste your time interrigating him or trying to catch him. Its not worth your time or heartache. You should probably look for a guy that has friends that you can respect, since he'll be spending alot of his time with them.

"If you lie down with dogs you come up with fleas"
"Birds of a feather flock together"
"You are known by the company you keep"
These three adages should help you make a wise decision. If he condones his friends behavior he is complicit in it as well.
"Use your head to save your heart".

friends who cheat consider cheating okay and acceptable...even fun. they would most probably lie for him. and unless he is very strong willed and devoted, he may fall to peer pressure and cheat as well.
