my best friend just called and she told me that she saw my boyfriend talking to this other girl(more like flirting)and when my friend went over and asked him,he just said that the girls cousin wanted to ask him out but he said no.
besides we havent spoken in a long time....

Here's the deal...

His mom is very controlling. She's not excited at all about us dating. He says he thinks we should "take a break" because of all of the things happening in his life right now. He also says that it doesn't mean he doesn't want to be with me, and he plans to get back together with me. He also says he still wants to call me mostly everyday, we just won't see each other for awhile.

What does this mean?

I feel like talking to him about something that affects girls so much would strengthen his understanding of what I go through each month... But I don't want him to get grossed out or turned off. We've been together a year and we're in college, just to clarify. Thanks!

I am in university and last semester I had a history course with this boy who I never really spoke with, but I really liked him. I am far too shy to act on my feelings, as I have been shy my whole life and this was no exception. For a 19 yr old I am incredibly naive about relationships and love and anything in that realm of life. And I could never understand why he acted so strangely around me. In discussion he would sit across the room and keep looking at me, but when I looked at him he would quickly turn away. In group assignment, we were placed in the same group and when I would ask him a question he would get completely tongue-tied and he never looked me in the eye. When I asked him for the assignment sheet he dropped all of his papers on the floor. He stood in the rain to hold the door open for me. Whenever he would see me he would immediately start talking to a random student he didn't know. I didn't understand him at all. Now I don't see him, but I can't seem to forget him.

if a girl plays a joke with da guy, it bothers him a lot n his inbox gets full n he duzn get da girlz emails, he thinks that he lost her when the truth is he didn't and when his inbox gets emptier and the girl tells him that she's still his, why doesn't he believe her until a friend of hers tells him???

Would you keep a guy around out of a feeling of obligation soley on the fact that he buys you expensive presents all the time and won't let you pay for anything. Basically what I'm asking, is that would you choose a guy you don't like as much based on money rather than one who's better for you that cannot afford those types of things. I'm in a predicament like that (being I'm the poor guy!). I can barely afford to take care of myself, let alone buy expensive presents for a girl. What do you think is more important?

She's 3 years younger than me (I'm in Canada, the law is different from America) and I'm just getting to know her since we go to the same school. I'm in my senior year so I'll be graduating this year.

I'm thinking I'll wait three years than see if I still feel the same way and maybe tell her. I just don't feel right about it at all with the age difference right now. I just like being around her.

Okay, Im not a little kid, but I was locked in a buble and dont have much experience about dating and men. i have a co-worker friend who we hang off and on, partied sometimes almost every weekend. at first we both had another person we was dealing with, and then he broke up with his long distant girl, and i broke up with my guy friend, but still continued to see each other. at times we are partying seperatly and he calls me to meet up with him afterwards or will come party the rest of the night with me. he told me once that he is afraid of getting hurt, so he goes with the flow and leave the rest to god. its been about 1 1/5 years now, and im really REALLY feeling him, but im afraid to aproach him and just come out and say it! i dont want to scare him away, but i shoot everyone down, including a guy that had a thing for me for 2 years but ISN'T my type and wont take not intrested in a relationship w/him, as an answer. & thats the one that is TOTALY into me :-( . My girl and I were talking tonight about things we would like to do. The topic of Anal Sex came up and I said that I have never done that and neither has she so I would like to do it. She started questioning me about why I would want that. That she thought that I loved her. She asked why I would even want to do that. I told her because I never had and I would want to do that with her because I want to expierence everything with her and the other reason is she has never done it. It's not like I have to have it, fantisize about it, or even crave it. It is just that I want to try it and because I love her I wanted to share that new expierence with her. She made me feel like a real jerk by even mentioning it. Told me why would I want to hurt her like that and just continued to ask me over and over why I wanted to. I have no big reason.
