She's 3 years younger than me (I'm in Canada, the law is different from America) and I'm just getting to know her since we go to the same school. I'm in my senior year so I'll be graduating this year.

I'm thinking I'll wait three years than see if I still feel the same way and maybe tell her. I just don't feel right about it at all with the age difference right now. I just like being around her.

Be her friend by all means but don't take it any further. She's young and in a few years she may be a totally different person, as you will be too.

While I can understand you wanting to stay friends, it's probably not the best choice. Don't set yourself up to be tempted into a Very Bad Decision, and don't put your life on hold waiting.

Go, live, be happy. Give her the space and time to do the same (and to mature and get to know herself better for that matter). Promise to reconnect in three years. If it's "meant to be", it'll be meant to be then too, and it will have a much better chance for working out in the long-term for having done the right thing now.

That's a tough one. If you do decide to act on your crush, make sure you're slow with her and don't try to act how you would with an 18 year old girl... I mean, she's pretty young and you don't want to scare her or something, haha.

But if there's a law in Canada about it, don't go for it. I've seen people go to jail after parents turned in their child's ex boyfriend/girlfriend. Not good.

Sounds to me like your doing the right thing. Just be friends for now. I know people say friends & Lovers don't make for a good relationship. Personally I deagree with that.

I think you should wait until she is older. Your feelings might change- and even though you two are close in age...maturity levels might be different. There is no pain in just hanging out and letting time do it's thing basically.

hey id say go for it.
its acaully not that big of an age difference.
3 years
compared to 36 year olds dating 18 years olds
which i find repulsive.
if shes mature enough than it shouldnt matter.

dun rush things, just get to know her more and take things slowly. if she proves to be what u look for in a gf then tell her how u feel for her.

Have her visit you in canada. There's no harm in a non-sexual relationship.
