I have a date this weekend with this hot chick who i really want to impress. We decided togethe first go to a nice restaurant to eat dinner and after that maybe go to certain beautiful sceneries. Since i live in southern california, there's a lot of romantic sceneries around. And we decided that we should check out a movie. However, I was thinking if I should used the two free movie passes that i have in my wallet. Is that too cheap on a date? I also got some nice coupons for baskin Robins if we decided to get some icecream or something cus i know chicks love icecream.

Being cheap and using coupons on a first date is never a good idea. Especially not if she`s hot. Pretty women are used to being treated a certain way and it doesn`t include a guy using coupons on your first date. If you did it she would probably be polite and act like it didn`t matter, but later you`d be the joke of the night when she tells her friends about the date.

First impressions mean a lot to some people. If she is vien she could think your being cheap, if shes not she can think , oh hes good with money and knows how to save. If it bothers you, try selling the coupons to someone and use the cash on the date that you get from the sale of the coupons.

Oh, bless your heart. I must say, I could give you advise both ways here. But to be honest, she won't like it if you pull out those coupons. That will really embarrass her. But on the other hand, what if you guys hit it off and start dating seriously. Eventually she will learn that you try to save money at every opportunity. Which isn't anything to be ashamed of but you must realize that opposites do attract therefore, she won't necessarily see things your way. If I were you, I'd save those coupons for a later date.

Don't use no coupons on a first date. Remember first impression last a lifetime. You don't want her to nickname you "cheap". I would be turned off if a guy takes me out on a first date and start pulling out coupons or free passes.

just act like it's no big deal that you're using coupons. Just don't pull out all kinds of deals, and a coupon book-especially all in the same night. If you have the money and can use the coupons later, that's probabley better. Or maybe you could pay for dinner and she could pick up the movies?

I would pay this time, but you could mention that you have free movie tickets would she like to join you. Save the ice cream vouchers for you and a friend.

Personally, I would feel that it made you a good money manager, and would be a plus for you!
I learned from my first marriage from a guy who wasted money at high-priced stores, and I wished he was much more financially savvy, as we didn't exactly have money to throw around.
