He also says that it doesn't mean he doesn't want to be with me, and he plans to get back together with me. He also says he still wants to call me mostly everyday, we just won't see each other for awhile.

He's a liar, if he wanted to be with you, you would be together right now. he's blaming his mom, because he wants you to think it's not his fault. he doesn't seem serious to me. he just wants to have control over you(call everyday and stuff) and in the mean time he's having fun with someone else...doesn't sound fair...
