Hey there, I'm starting my senior year in high school and I've already noticed this girl that I sort of like. She's new to my high school and I think she only has one new friend so far. If I can get to know her a little better, maybe I would be interested in asking her out because she seems nice. She sits beside me and infront of me in 2 of my classes and I've only said a few words to her. How could I get off to a good friendly start with her and see how things go from there? I'm just not sure how I could do that because she always seems to be around another girl who has become her new friend and is showing her around the school. I'm a fairly good looking guy so I don't think there are any turn off's for me to worry about, but I don't want to be a stalker or anything :P just some simple tips would be appreciated, Thanks

I'm around 5'0 and 5'2 and have a major attraction to women who are taller than me (around 5'8 to 6'0). In fact, in the area where I live about 98% of the women are 5'6 or taller. Are there any women who would ever date a nice polite guy who's shorter than her?

She's not talking to me or replying to any of my text messages.

Is it over or should I give it some time and try again tomorrow?

Look, today was my first day of highschool, and when i made it to my 6th period class,I made it late as i did the rest of my classes today, because the numbers sent me off, they were school.but not the point of this question. I usually have no problems approaching girls, but today when i walked in class there were to seats left, one next to this ugly nerd. And then one next to the girl behind her,it was a beatiful girl who was hispanic, didn' quite catch my eye until she turned around. I introduced myself to her,I asked her what her name was, told her mines, made her laugh a couple of times through class. I wanted to approach her but quite don't know the way,i can tell she likes me though, after i introduced myself she gave me a smile and i instantly was in a daze. she started comparing our classes seeing wich ones we had together,we had only one wich we were in. I'm not the kind of guy to usually have problems spitting game a.k.a. pulling girls. But,i really don't know what to say to her. when..

I'm in a relationship with a great guy. The problem is that both of us have very strong feelings, even though we haven't been together long. That wouldn't necessarily be bad, but it's that we're having a hard time with our feelings, because we've both admitted that we're thinking long term. I think it is a little scary to both of us, because we didn't expect to find someone like the other. The biggest issue is learning to communicate early on, and that sometimes, he's wonderful, but then he pulls back and starts to over think everything. I admit that I do the same thing. It makes for some tense conversations sometimes, and I'd rather not have spats about our feelings, when I'd rather just go with the flow and not have it be so intense. How can we communicate better? I know this relationship could be so wonderful, and I don't want to give up on it for something silly. Anyone who has been married or in long term relationships would be helpful...seriously. Thanks.

There's so many pretty girls on Myspace and I want to add them as friends, but I don't know any of them. When I try to add them, most of them don't add me as a friend. Or the ones that do have like 1000 friends already and it's very hard to really talk with them because they have so many friends and don't know me.
So what's your strategy for adding and meeting people on Myspace?

Dating is not based in reality. The dating premise is, "Hey, I'm attracted towards you, let's start going out with each other and see what happens." Kind of demented isn't it? I believe dating removes each person from the responsibility of remaining objective and truly caring for the other person. Dating is all about creating romantic environments to woo or impress someone into your heart. It seems the practical side of romance is almost completely removed from thought today. It has been our cultures' mindset to continue defrauding romance with another person. Love is described as, “I’m falling in love!” or “I am madly in love!” Like love is some external force we have control over! Which therefore releases someone of being responsible for his or her actions because love was in control. Therefore, my opinion on dating is not to date because dating is not based in reality. I have given this much thought because I have made many mistakes with our culture's dating mentality.

Everytime I talk to my ex-girlfriend, I end up leaving the conversation fairly sad. I miss her and it's hard to talk to her as if I never knew her.

I tried to just cut her off, I told her I couldn't talk to her for a while and she got sad and asked me not to, so I said I'd try.

Today we talked and I got sad again. I'm tired of being sad. I want to be happy. Do I just cut her off, or what? Is there any way to prevent being sad? I don't want to cut her off, I still love her, but it's so hard to talk to her.

Please help me...

Assume you just left your boyfriend of 8 years to "find yourself" and experience more of life before settling down. Your ex boyfriend tries getting you back and you only pull further away until finally you say we can't see each other for a while. A week later you ask to see him to drop some stuff off which is contradicting your last request for whatever reason.

Now this is where i need the advice, I still want her back but dont want her thinking i am her puppet waiting for my next command. She is NOT a manipulative b i t c h but does know i still feel strongly for her and is quite likely enjoying the extra attention.

Is it in my best interest to say i cant make it and to just drop the stuff off or should i go meet her for whatever reason? Gees im confused.

my boyfriend has an ex girlfriend that he is still maintaining a friendship with. he is vague on the details of the friendship, and i have expressed concern as to why i haven't met her yet in 10 months of dating. he admitted that although he has no romantic feelings for her, she is still in love with him. i now consider this relationship inappropriate. problem is.. he does not. he intends on remaining friends with her, despite my insecurities. he tells me that she is absolutely no threat to me whatsoever. but i can't help but feel differently. how would you feel. am i overeacting?

I do have a man, who is very disappointed in me about some of my choices. But that's beside the point, let's generalize this. Men, would you get involved with a woman who had a slight problem with drugs? Though the woman is responsible, intellectual, going to college to get a degree, able to hold down a job, talented, creative, and beautiful? I know a lot of those things don't sound realistic, but these are the circumstances I'm giving you. What would you do?

I'll try to make a long story short. My EX and I were everything!! The best, happiest couple. I was is 1st love. We were together for over a yr. After that we seperated because of me...I wanted to be with him more than he was able to. He felt like I was chasing him, but I just wanted to be with him. So 5 months has past, and I'am still in love with him, more than ever. True love right! I tryd to meet new people but I just think of him. He's 21 and Im 20, he's not the type of guy to go chasing girls and being in one night stands, or getting a new girl friend right away. He only had 2 girlfriends in his life, and I was the only girl he really loved, and told that to. That goes for me to, I only been in one other relationship before, but Im in love still, I dont know how to move on. I broke his heart so many times, when i use to try to tell him how i feel he just crys, did I hurt him to much? Is that why he wont talk to me? what should I do???
