If she hasn't committed yet, then you might want to try sending out signals that your not looking for a relationship at this moment.
If she does go through with it, then just be honest. Girls don't take things like this well so your going to have to be gentle.
Its hard when we have to hurt the ones we care about. Especially when all they want to do is be close to you. I wish there was a easy answer but when it comes to matters of the heart there usually isn't...........Good Luck

Hi Alex
Think you might be tactful about it... maybe when talking about some girl from a TV programme, you can discuss what you like / dislike about her character...
Going on I'm sure this can be the opener to discuss romantic preferences.
You may mention that you haven't seen anyone in your circle of frens right now that you might consider romantically.
Hope it helps.

If you are truly her friend than let her know as soon as possible. If there are no romantic feelings for her than dont let her waste her time. But also remember to be a friend and dont turn your back on her. Help her threw any problems that she has with dealing with your news.

When that day does come. Tell her how much you are flattered. But you just don't feel the same way. And that you would feel terrible if this ruined your friendship. But you really value her As a friend of course.

You can't tell her without hurting her. She will be mad at you. But it would be cruel not to tell her....because that would be giving her hope...and that will lead her to believe that you're interested. You can't justify why you're not interested...not your fault, not hers, sometimes it's just that way. You can't tell her without hurting her....but you can tell her what you actually feel and let her deal with it....that way the hurt is quick like a band-aid being torn off....instead of the hurt of wondering, guessing, hoping....Sometimes it's 'Kind to be Cruel'

Since she as not yet told you, then just talk about how nice it is just being friends and how this friendship she has with you will always be. And you are glad that nothing like dating or anything is in the middle to ruin it.

How do you know that she is going to tell you that she likes you?Well if you do know this for a fact then you have to tell her nicely that you don't like her like that if you don't all you are going to do is hurt her more if you cant tell her the truth.

well just being fair might hurt her...so subtly let her know that u are int rested in someone else...then she will know the reality and initially she will feel bad but that`s going to be good for the two of u and don`t worry that u are lieing it`s for the good of u two..all the best

Well one quick way is to make a comment about another girl in front of her... She will pick up on that right away... that way you don't have to hurt her personally. She will just think you are a typical male....
