I have been with a guy for a yr now (talking)but we are definatly going out together. he has said he loves me and calls me sweetie when hes drunk, but he keeps disresecting me I think. he leaves me waiting to here from him for hours, or doesn`t even call.I also know he is still visiting the personals and trying to meet girls(is that cheating)I wait and don`t make plans because he said he would call. help i`m so heart broken, i thought he was a stand up guy

As anyone who has lived and loved, I have been hurt a few too many times. My ex left me while I was still in the hospital after giving birth to our second child. That was 20 years ago. I raised my children alone and couldn't let myself get into a relationship again.
Now I am dating a man who is wonderful and loves me very much. It's around this time in a relationship that I begin to get spooked and push the man away. I'm just afraid of being hurt again and I end up driving him away. I don't want that to happen this time. How can I come to terms with this fear and get past it so I can love again?

I was fortunate to play sports and do extra -curricular activities in school, so I had lots of friends.....but nowadays because of societies demand to look like a model or have a cell phone or even wear top-line clothing.....are children being teased and discrimentated at school and do not concentrate on their studies?

I would like to make my first date with a young lady that i've been t alking to for a few weeks.I'm a man of few words and i'm not very emotional as far as romancing and the age difference is about 14 years.What could a 45 year old and a 31 year find to talk about on a date?And what things can we do together to keep us both interested?I don't drink and i don't go out a lot so i don't know if we'll find much in common to talk about.

How do I tell the man I love that I think he is verbally abusing me? What do I tell him verbal abuse is? How can I make him understand what it is? I know, I've read up on it but I need some help in finding a way to bring this up to his attention without hurting his feelings anymore than I have to.

I have a girlfriend who's first boyfriend was abusive and controlling. So by no stretch of the mind shes pretty cynical towards relationships and "doesn't like" dating (she does she's just still bitter). So she insinuates to me that she wants to break up/take a break, so I go ahead and tell her we should. She thanks me for being understandable and starts acting like she did before we dated (giving me the "look", flirting, showing alot of interest, etc.). I figured I should give her time to think things out, be her friend. Recently she started acting even more distant and today we had plans but she never answered her phone (of which I called only twice). So it's like total abandonment. Look I know it's probably over so you don't need to tell me that, it already bugs me. Im just looking for some explanation for all this (no I wasn't needy or anything like that. She was happy.)

So Im going to wait a couple of days before calling her again...a good idea?

I was told today that my cancer had grown back. My boyfriend said good bye because he can't handle it and he wants to date other women and have fun. Two girlfriends got there boyfriends back and don't have time for me anymore. I cried all day and haven't slept in two days. It's a bad hair day too! Oh, and my cat vomited on my good white shorts and the stain won't come out.

How do I handle it. I can't stop crying and life isn't worth living. It is too painful.......

What do you guys think....I've been seeing this person for a while now, we dont see each other everyday but do manage to talk to each other almost everyday...so there was two incidents....one time right when I was going to hang up they said I love you...of course I was like hm....didnt think anything of it....but then recently...they sent me a txt and it said they think they're in love with me....of course I was caught off guard and i didnt know what to reply back, at first I told me me? you know this is not something to joke about, but they said they were not...thats when then I decided to take the lead and say I do too...but now Im wondering should I bring it up? they havent brought it up either? We havent talked or referred to it ever since then, its like it never happen.

A boy called me, we'd known each other as friends for about a year, and he asked me out. I said yes, and since it was late and I had a friend over, I asked him to call me back later. As soon as he hung I realized I didn't have HIS phone number. It's been over a week and he hasn't called again.

I am so devastated. My friend told me that he saw an ad that my boyfriend had placed on craigslist. Basically, it was ad seeking bi sex with a girl and another guy (I didn't even know he was into girls!!). I didn't believe him (or at least didn't want to), so I went onto craigslist myself just to see... and sure enough, my boyfriend had placed an ad looking for sex. He even put a face photo on the ad (that's how I knew for sure it was him).

I feel so betrayed and devastated. I haven't said anything to him yet (he's still at work). I really love him and I thought he loved me.. I'm insecure enough about our relationship as it is, but I feel like this is just going to destroy me inside.

My boyfriend is Muslim, he loves me dearly, and I am Christian. Although he don't practive really, in Kosovo where he is from, it is important, but not practiced, just no pork. Well he is in love with me, and he wants to marry me, but all along he has not told his parents his TRUE feelings for me, instead, he has made it look like I am a bad person, when I do so much for him, but he did not do it purposely, but only to make himself look good because he did not want to dissapoint his parents. Now he has dug himself a hole, and they would not believe him now if he told them the truth about how much he loves me. I can't speak with them because we don't speak the same language, and he is not open enough WITH THEM to speak with them, but he's open with others. He is afraid his parents will yell at him. We have a great relationship, but his parents have a problem with the religion thing, and age thing, I am 27 female, he is 22. They also think i am bad because he never told the truth.
