I was fortunate to play sports and do extra -curricular activities in school, so I had lots of friends.....but nowadays because of societies demand to look like a model or have a cell phone or even wear top-line clothing.....are children being teased and discrimentated at school and do not concentrate on their studies?

yes, i'm 16 and goin to be a junior at a public school. i dont follow the trends of what we are suppose to wear. i just find something comfortable and not worry what other people say about me. i'm deaf and i proved that i'm better in class than being around people that worries alot about their looks. i dont have everything i want but i'm lucky to have a life. so the answer to ur question is yes, alot of people are being teased about what they wear. if u wear something from a flea market or walmart you are gonna be teased by your peers.
