My ex was my first true love and it seems that since me and my current boyfriend got into an arguement that my ex is trying to work things out with me. I am very confused and don't know what to do. People say I should just stay with my current boyfriend but at times my heart says go back to your ex boyfriend. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

I have/had a girlfriend for quite a few months, and I always knew that her father hated my guts. She didn't think he hated me, but agreed that I'm not his favourite person. Yesterday I challenged him about this, and we ended up having a row... and then I ended up punching him. Now my girlfriend won't talk to me!! Have I screwed up big time or will she get over it?

every little thing that i see hear or smell makes me think of my ex... I CANNOT GET HIM OUT OF MY HEAD....it might help if he had a reason as to why he broke up with me but he didnt and every time i ask him about it he changes the subject and trust me ive asked him plenty of times... and the one guy that I do like has a girlfriend so i dont know what to do please help me and give me some advice...thanks

I have been seeing an older man for six years now. We were engaged at one time but we aren't any long. He has always said that once his kids were out of the house we could go from there. Well his youngest is nineteen an recently moved in with a friend, but the 23 year old just came back to live with his dad (because him and his girlfriend broke up because h quit his job and he doesn't feel the need to take care of his own two kids). Anyway, the 23 yr old has been out of work for over 4 months and his biggest goal each day is waking up before 4pm to go play basketball with his friends. My boyfriend doesn't like this but has done nothing about it. I love him very much but I feel I'm spinning my wheels. I'm pretty sure I know what I should do, but dealing with this for so long has brought my self esteem down and I have been depressed for some time now. Please help.

I must admit, although I have always had confidence, lately I have been lacking confidence in my appearance and attractiveness. I met a guy however and we've become really good friends, we hung out every day at school and even though we got teased about being a couple we didn't care, we just ignored it said it wasn't true. After a while, I felt bad because I developed a crush on him, and I thought just maybe he may like me. Unfortunatley, I cannot tell. We talk, and on the topic of dating he has said to my friends that he doesn't have anyone specific in mind when thinking of who he'll first ask on a date when he's older(I was with him, and I felt bad when he said it)and he has said other things under the topic "when I have a girlfriend" and it doesn't sound like it'll be me, yet through everything that i've read elsewhere, he's given me the signs of major flirting, always talking to me and the possibility of liking me...sorry to ask really, but any thoughts?

I am a shy person, and I would like to meet someone, but I find it really frustrating to just go up to someone who looks like a potential girl. I feel I have nothing to start the connection. And I think another reason is there are just way too many girls around (live in the city) and have no idea how to initiate conversations with girls. Any suggestions?

this guy that i like asked me to hang out with him and some friends a few days ago. i told him i'd meet him at school when he gets out of class at 12:30. at 12 he calls and asks if i was on my way. then he says that he got out of class at 10 and had already hung out and now he's going home. then he says that next week he wants to go to six flags and that we have to. how should i take this?

To answer the most obvious question....because I am a work-aholic and a single mom.

We are members of the same club/organization. We are meeting for drinks. He is younger than I am. I have known him through certain circles for about three years. He is attractive, smart and funny. However I am very nervous, and when I get very nervous I have the tendency to have uncontrollable laughter. So, any advice or tips for me?

"ok so i was going out with this girl named des i loved her like crazy,like a regular relationship i would call her every day, it was going fine, then she started calling about 2 or 3 in the morning and i usualy leave my phone up stairs to charge and my dad got really mad so he took the batery out of it. i come up stairs the next morning to find my phone taking apart and i put it back together but it doesnt work, i was trying to call destiny to tell her im going on a family reunin for a week in tenneessee. i couldent get to her, so i go to the family reunin,and couldent call her, becuase my phone is broke. so i didnt talk to her the whole week, i come home and looked up her number in the phone book, and called her, she didnt answer, so she myspace'd me and said that "you never talk to me so i think we need to be freinds," i think she was really mad at me should she have broke up with me?

me and this guy have liked each other for four months now... he is the best guy ive ever met.. he is handsome and he is sooo good to me... he is also a christian which is even better... we both believe in not courting or dating until we are older tho... so technically we are still friends.. but i went to the movies with him and Ireached out to hold his hand... we both liked it so none of us were offended by it but... what should be my next move?... i cant do anything drastic but i want to do something to show him how much i care about him... i am a girl too?... does anyone have any ideas?

He was drunk from the night before and he hit me- not bad, I'm fine I just have a bruise on my stomach. I pressed charges and put him in jail, but I love him and wat him back here. He's not a violent person and I also hit him, I didn't hurt him, it was more defending myself. I'm not one of those Passive, abused women that are in denial about their bf's or husband'd beating them. I understand that it shouldn't have happened, but I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier- b/c of the things I've done to him. I love him and I will only let him come back if we go to counseling together. Is this an acceptable thing to do? Can I give him another chance but add stipulations to him coming home?
