I just met this great girl in chicago and she had to leave for s. carolina and i had to go back to california and we exchanged numbers and email. There was definitely chemistry and it seemed like she didn't want the conversation to end. How long should I wait to contact her and maybe meet again for a date?

How old are the two of you?

I think continuing conversations by email is a great. You can start that right away. You'll soon know if the relationship is worth progressing to phone calls, and then on to a visit in person.

Don't wait, waiting a specific time before asking people out for a next date is a rediculous method and can sometimes send the wrong message. Don't make it the first thing to do on your list. Just wait until you are comfortable with sending an e-mail or making a call.

As soon as you get near a phone. Cause if you wait and then call, she might have another person on the other line talking to her instead of you.

now is a good time. Wait too long and she will just think you were flirting and not really interested. You should call her before someone else does.

If you like her enough, CONTACT HER NOWWW!!! Girls like it when a long distance man is willing to go the extra mile to maintain some level of communication with them.
