My brother turns 23 on March 5th and I was wondering what a good gift would be. He loves gadgets, but I'm not rich. Besides, most times he says he buys the things and they just sit somewhere unused. Please help.

I have been dating a guy for about 6 months and i really like him and he really likes me, but we have different beliefs. his family is muslim and mine is Seventh Day Adventist. he is a great guy (sweet, caring, fun to be around) i dont want to end becuase of our beliefs, I Really like him! I guess im just wondering if there is a way that we could make it work even though we have differences. or are the chances of making it work slim? thanks *LeanN

i have my own place and my 18 yr old son lives here with me he's still in school i work everyday mon thru fri anyway my boyfriend of a few yrs stays here to he doesn't help with the bills because he says i would have to pay them anyway since it's my place he does give me a ride to work every day and buys groc sometimes and helps out in other ways to i'm not asking him to pay half the bills just throw in some extra money to help out i think its only fair
he doesn't have a full time job so when he does have money he always seems to need it to pay his bike payment or gas etc i don't make alot of money at my job either so alittle extra would help i love him but this is starting to come between us also i'm a very pretty woman so i'm not desperate how can i make him understand that just because i'd be paying the bills anyway its only fair that he should help

I am a semi stay at home mom. my husband tells me i don't have to go back to work. I was on bed rest for 2 months before giving birth. So at 3 weeks i wanted to return to my job. granted i was a bartender/server. it's been 7 weeks now and i still only work 1 -2, sometimes 3 days a week. although he goes to school 40 hours a week and work 25-30. Am i wrong to be jealous of the time he gets away with other adults, or am i absolutely right to be upset. even though I will never let on I care.

Me and my ex fiancee broke up over a year ago. She cheated on me (long story). But we had a bad break up, and then we kind of started to be friends, and then she got a new boyfriend about 8 months ago and ive been with mine for about 5 months. my question is should i email her to see if i can get that ring back ?? and should i tell my new gf that im doing it? i just don't want to start a big fight because my new gf thinks i want her back. i could really really use the money right now, but the last few times i tried talking to her (my ex) she has been a total rip. My Boyfriend is acting very distant and rarely calling me. When I talk to him he has a bit of an attitude and we sit there quiet for a while. When I describe it, it sounds like Im being dumb but, I can tell he is being different. When I call he's randomly not home even though I tell him Im going to call him at that specific time and then I dont talk to him until hours later. He told me it was because he's inbetween jobs right now but I dont feel like that is the problem. What do you think it is?

My husbands boss is totally abusive verbally. Last night my husband forgot to do something and his boss called him up after hours and called my husband back to work. as my husband was leaving he called again and I picked up the phone and simply said he was on his way and I hung up.. He calls me back 5 minutes later saying "how dare I talk to him that way" and that he was the one that paid the bills in my house since he is my husbands boss and called me a dumb f***..... My husband is going to find another job but what I am wondering is what can I do legally about the way he talked to me. This man thinks he is above everyone and that he is always right and everyone else is wrong.

i am in my 2nd year of college (19 years old) & had my heart on being an anesthesiologist... but looking furthur into it i'm not sure.

I want to start a family by the time i am in my late 20's. Are they on call like surgeons & doctors are?

Basically i am looking for a job that pays amazingly & i'll work for it, but i also want a family life (working in the hospital has always been a goal of mine)

I'm not into doing surgeries or anything, but i'd like to do something important & get paid well.

Any advice?!

i just broke up with my 26yr old ex of 3 yrs cos i found his cheating behind my back with a colleague of his who's 18yrs old. we ended it after a painful arguement. he's still staying with me till my housemates are back cos my place is not really that safe for me to stay alone in. my problem is last nite after he came back from his date with his gf (celebrating their 1st anniversary together - and we just broke up 5 days ago!) we had sex. i feel so bad! i didnt know wat i was doing. it was great at first but now i feel it was a stupid thing to do. i feel pity of myself and his gf. so im asking should i warn the girl or just let her find out for herself. cos this is not the first time he cheated on her with me. like i said we only recently broke up. The reasons of why i am stressed is way to long, and it wouldnt matter anyways, nothing can be changed.

but basically, my back hurts, i've got a head ace, i keep breaking down in tears every 10 mins, i want to bunch something, or scream at the top of my lungs, got no where to go (i live w/ my uptight grandmother), my boyfriend has the car, no spare money, im 9 months pregnant, and no sholders to cry on!!!

My neighbours play really loud music all day. That wouldnt concern me, as much as the fact that all there cds are scratched so it skips and stalls and bounces around. Also my husband works night shift so he needs to sleep during the day. We have a baby due in 4 weeks and if they keep going I will really lose it, they also let there pit bulls rome around our yard and they are pretty vicious dogs. What can I do? I dont want to call the police, coz one of them just got out of jail recently for attempted murder, and is a bit scary. We cant move out, coz our lease doesnt run out for another 3 months

My love interest is an Aries man. We haven't told each other anything, but I know he likes me. He always stares and looks away when I see him staring. Well, because he's cute and every woman at work likes him, I'm playing a bit hard to get. Plus, I'm shy too. Eversince things got really obvious, we kind of freeze up around each other. Before we used to be more chatty. Anyhow, I think he wants me to talk to him more, but when I do, he acts all avoidant, like he's losing his ability to talk...well....so, I play cool even more...the whole thing is spiralling out of control....I think he's really tired of me avoiding him too and has started to openly flirt with another woman, even though he freezes around me...so, I know he's still in love with me....how do I make things work? If I open up I feel he'll run away. If I avoid him, I feel he'll explode with anger....I can tell he's angry. What gives?

This is one of those types of mother/daughter problems. It was recently my birthday and I just turned 16. My mom gave me $200 to buy whatever I wanted. I wanted a cellphone and she said No. I also already told her I can buy one for cheap and if we go on the same plan together we can both save less (cause she has a cell phone too).

She said: "You can have my old one", "Get a job first", "No", and the ever so popular, "Why do you need one?"

I pretty much think the questions are self explanatory. I mean, why ask me that when you know the answer. Why does anyone get a cell phone? For obvious reasons as safety, business, and communications. C'mon, it's my 16th, I know kids that are 13 and already have cell phones for 3 years. I, personally, don't think I'm asking for much... but then I could be wrong. Tell me what's wrong with this picture and tell me how I can fix it.
