My husbands boss is totally abusive verbally. Last night my husband forgot to do something and his boss called him up after hours and called my husband back to work. as my husband was leaving he called again and I picked up the phone and simply said he was on his way and I hung up.. He calls me back 5 minutes later saying "how dare I talk to him that way" and that he was the one that paid the bills in my house since he is my husbands boss and called me a dumb f***..... My husband is going to find another job but what I am wondering is what can I do legally about the way he talked to me. This man thinks he is above everyone and that he is always right and everyone else is wrong.

Legally, I don't know what you can do. I just know that the way he treats people will come back to bite him in the butt one day!
I'm sure there's someone your husband could call, the Labor Board or someone higher up than his boss. Unless his boss is the owner of the company then he should have a boss too. Your husband can't be the only person he treats this way.
I know you must be very upset over this & I'm sure your husband feels helpless in defending you because he needs his job.
Your husband could always try saying something like, "it's bosses like you that make employees go postal" & try putting a little fear in him. Ok, maybe everybody doesn't think like I do at 1:17am, lol.
Good luck to you!

Not too much will come out of it legally , I would find another job after I beat the sh*t out of that s.o.b. for talking to me ,or my wife that way .... I do not demand respect from anyone as that is earned , but no one will talk to me like that or my girlfriend / wife and just walk away without a limp in their walk or a busted skull , the fine for simple assault is less than what the legal system will do to him (( the boss)) ..plus it is just a misdemeanor so it means nothing to a future job.. I have about ten ,and it has not stopped me as most employers do not count misdemeanors .

well if you tell your husband he talked to you like that your husband is going to jail for a small period of time so try to not tell him that guy said that to you.
just help your husband get another job.

Employer abuse. Record it sometime, and press charges. Your local police station will help you.
