I have tried to stay out of their personal business as far as the kids are concerned, yet she still tries to find some reason to complain to him about us being together. I have always been friendly to her when we have to be around her and still that is not good enough. She left him and remarried shortly after. I can't understand what the problem is.

The love of my life finally came back into my life after not being around due to circumstances beyond our control...The parents don't know we are together again, he was introduced 4 yrs. ago, and they hated him. There were a lot of circumstances.....long story.

Anyways, he is a different person now than he was back then, and we adore each other. My parents aren't exactly known for forgetting the past, and i don't know how to tell them about our relationship, or the fact that we are talking about living together in a few months. How should I break it to them that we are in this relationship? I’ll give them time to get used to that before the other news break... I'll be 20 in two weeks, and I don’t live at home now, but with a relative…

Thought I had the perfect guy, dated for a while, didn't move too fast took our time saying I love you and met each other families. He agreed to relocate and I supported him until he found a job, which took almost 3 months. Even had his children come into the home for the summer and I basically supported both of them along with my son. Then one day he just says he will miss his children when they go back home, quit his job and stated he was going to move back to home state. I'm not clingy, have a good job, no baby daddy drama, attend a university, cook, clean and financially stable. Although he stayed in the spartment for another 10 days with his children after the break up until his "mother" drove 16 hours to pick them up I was nice about everything. Now he calls me last night as if we were still a couple, WTF?

People say to live for my kids but I always cry and am lonely and depressed in front of them so what will be the difference if i am dead, either way they are having some type of ill affects. I am in grad school right now, my marraige is on the rocks, (my husband just steps over me and brushes me off when I talk of suicide but I am at the point where I will never tell him or anyone else when it is time to do it I will just go peacefully.) we are in financial trouble and life just isnt in my opinion worth living.

I have read that such men need to be handled indirectly rather than the direct, open and honest way. How can one be indirect. If its something he does thats annoying or unacceptable, rather than blurting it out, what and how should I bring it up to make him see sense.

I am 32. After a couple of years having a rocky marriage, at the beginning of the year I moved out and into an apartment with a 30 year-old guy from work. We both worked 3rd shift. My 14 year-old daughter stayed the night with me on my nights off. This guy from work was sleeping with me, his ex-girlfriend, & my daughter. He convinced her they were in love and even took her virginity. It took a month before my daughter told me. I immediately stopped the involvement with this guy. He told me that if the authorities ever found out about what he did, he would run. I absolutely believed him because he had no reason to stay in the state. I continued to live in the apt. and make him think everything was fine ONLY so he wouldn't run before being charged.This guy was charged w/ 2nd degree rape. After only 2 months of being gone, I moved back home. My husband, daughter & I see a counselor.Yes, my husband beat him up! Was sticking around until he got charged the right thing to do?

Ex and I broke up and agreed to be friends, but then he calls me last night as if we were still a couple and expected everything to be okay. I'm just trying to be cool because it is the possiblity I can be pregnant due to missed period, but it can also be the stress from the break up. I'm just trying to be nice until I positive I am or not. We are older and have good stable jobs, but we now live in two differnt states.

Biologically/Genetically speaking, what exactly is it that determines the colour of a baby's skin, if he/she was a result of sex between mixed race couple.

Kelly Holmes was born to a Black male & White female, but looks COMPLETE black without any looks of "mixed race", while in other cases, I've seen the baby looking "more white" or "more black" or "mixed" (if you catch my drift).

Surely, it couldn't possibly be the sex-drive of one over the other, I'd have thought (if I may say so).
