Boyfriend is 14 years older and is very manipulative, jealous, selfish, and will use me up and throw me away when something better comes along. I have never been in a "healthy" relationship. I have never been on my own. My boyfriend hides things I need and will do things to my car to prevent me from going places. He makes up things to fight about. He sneaks off after I am asleep, gets drunk spends my paycheck, gets a DUI and he makes me feel guilty. I am really a smart person, but I am a bit too loyal - I wish I could find people that could teach me how to be healthy - I am living in a small town. No family here, but a couple of great friends - but they have their own problems and I don't want to burden them. What steps should I take to live alone, and how do I tell my boyfriend it's over without a real big mess?

No, I'm not trying to create controversy here . . . it's a legitimate question. I'll turn 40 this year, and have never been married. I am a confident, healthy, intelligent, romantic, not boring, and not "too nice" man. For some reason though, women hate me because of this.

It would be easy to say that I need to just "be myself" and some woman will eventually appreciate me . . . but that's no longer acceptable. My prime dating days are fading quickly. A change needs to be made, NOW.

With this in mind, what is the best way for me to become a bad boy so that women will want me? Should I slap them around? Cheat on them? Verbally abuse them? I'm open to any and all suggestions. Truly is a shame though that I have to sell my soul, just because I don't want to spend the rest of my life alone.

My boyfriend and i have been together for 6 months... we moved away from our hometown about 5 months ago...which is a small town.... and ever since then his ex girlfriend has been starting all kinds of rumors about him and me! Rumors like he does drugs, beat her, and cheated on her! Which are all not true... seeing as how we have been best friends for 3 years.... and i know what went on... she actually cheated on him! But what can i do to make it stop and to keep her from turning all of our friends against us? I feel horrible because my younger sister is still lives there and ppl ask her about the things she says! ive tried to ignore it but it seems to be getting worse! is there anything i can do?

I'm dealing with a young 31 year old female who lost her father in 1988 and it seems like she started having children at a very young age.She has been in quite a few hurtful relationships and she somewhat seems argumentive about every little thing.I'm 14 years older than her,but it seems like she don't mind getting involved with me as soon as she gets her own place.She calls me almost every night and i have to be careful what i say to her.Because i don't really know if this is leading to us having a relationship or if she is just looking for a father figure in her life.When she doesn't call me i know she's either had a night out on the town and not feeling good or she had a bad day.I can't talk about her changing some of these activities because i know that she is still young and love to party.When i try to correct her,she just gets upset and act like i don't know what i am talking about.

As i have learned in my life time you can never trust wat you feel. Or wat you see for that matter. My boyfriend & I have been together for over 10yrs. & I struggle to understand how undesirable it is for him to go out & do something once in a while. We are young & should be enjoying our lives & having fun together. He never wants to do anything. He says that he does, but when it comes time, it's a big fuss. I want to go out. Maybe dinner here or there, or go have a drink & play some pool. Even a movie. It's like pulling teeth. We have a 16mo. daughter & I would like to take her to see different things, ie;the zoo or aquarium,the beach,Disneyland,etc. Yeah, well the only thing he likes to do is go to his friends garage & play his guitar. BORING!!! I have no problem with him doing that, but all the time is no-go! How can I make it so that he wants to be more social & not such a home body? HELP!!!

She told him years ago she didn't want it. He makes $25 000/year and she makes about $100 000 plus she has dated a millionaire for the last 10 years. They are building a real big house together. She already had a nice one and sold it. I think they are going to get married. Ever since my bf and I moved in together she said she didn't want his money. A is going to visit B. B knows that C is looking to buy a widget. B asks A to buy a widget for C since widgets in A´s country ($500) are significantly cheaper than widgets in C´s country ($1000). C will reimburse A upon arrival for the cost of the widget.

A agrees to help.

A is given C´s email address. Through email correspondance, A is able to determine exactly what type of widget C wants.

A purchases the widget for C.

Meanwhile, B loses her widget.

What is the right thing to do?

1) A should give the widget to C. After all, even though he doesn´t really know C, A made a promise to buy the widget for C. It is unfortunate that B lost her widget, but A´s obligation is to C.

2) A should give the widget to B. After all, he doesn´t really know C, and B is his girlfriend. If B has to buy another widget, it will cost twice as much as A paid. A´s obligation is to B.

I have been with a man for 1 1/2 years and everything was good until my 5yr old boy came to live with us. i have a 2yr. old daughter who calls him daddy cause her father didnt want nothing to do with her. both kids from same dad, anyway. we fight, every time we fight its about money and my son and i feel like i have to ask to do anything, mind you I am 24yrs.old. He accepts my daughter, but he doesnt have the same feelings about my son. I love him but am starting to feel anger towards him. everything is about money to him.
