This is two fold you need to remember that the power merely is only a show. If you use this example-when a gorilla wants a female gorilla they bang on there chest as loud and as hard as they can to show the girl he has what it takes to protect her.
In some cases, it is just a game. I believe if the man is tough only when necessary he is not putting on a show. If the man buys you flowers, he is sweet. If opens the car door for you he is a gentleman. If he has a dependable car, he is responsible. If he has a good job he is hardworking and disciplined, If has been on his current job for more than 2 years he is focused, if he calls you after the date and said he had a great time and do you think we can do it again some day he is comfortable with you. This is worth keeping... Just remember living together changes things sharing checking account's make it challenging and going on a long well planned road trip (only if u have a good cell phone and someone knows where your going and that you will stay in touch) a road trip is a great started to a long term commitment for the future... The theory here is if you can get a long real well dating, and think you would like to take it to the next level, than a car ride for about 6-8 hours you will inevitably start to really know one another. You need to make sure you are going to do something that you both like (activities)....

Your meeting the wrong sort of men, a relationship or friendship with a man is about both been able to have opinions with no one in charge or controlling the other, whoever the man or men are that are making you feel so hurt over men then move away from them and find decent guys cause believe me they are out there.

OK here is the answer. Take a man who will help you in this experiment. Be his partner and live with him. Be the boss in the house, just let him do only what you say...............He can not speak in front of you and should do whatever you say....Believe me in few days or weeks time you will stop respecting that man. Yes! It works like that, no woman will ever respect a man who can not take his own decisions and his woman is her boss, not ever his own woman will respect her. Want to try it? Not with me atleast, cos I am a Man. But thats the turth.

Look to nature 4 the answer. lions,bears,cats,dogs,dear and most other animals its the same we as humans are just a different species of animal. Males have a duty protect and look after the family.that's natures rule. Modern times have changed that. Men and women need to remember that they are both sides of the same coin,ie protection companion and support and its about mutual respect, If your man is over controlling then that's due to insecurities within himself we're not all that way

Hi Babe, at one time it was called the "hunter instinct", or the "Tarzan" complex. Men who try to be controlling and pushy are usually lacking in self-esteem. It's up to you to be assertive, and know your rights as a woman. Men like women who are self-assured, confident, and poised. I know that I do. And I've spent much time in my life being "the boss" during working hours.

sorry but I don't agree, Im a woman and a control freak, I think most women are, often they find ways to control men without the man ever knowing.

i think men are always so controlling because its in our nature that we are the bread winner so we should take the role and be incharge just let him be but dont take to much.

Because their suppose to be but also they are raised that way. Have you ever meet a guy that was raised to be a wimp? I don't think so unless they are what you call a mamas boy.

Cause they convince themselves that they should be. Some women set them straight about that and the man finds out she was right and he was wrong.
