My family who has always been close nit, recently were told that they can no longer speak to my cousin. including her parents. They are Jehovah witnesses. She recently left her husband of 5 years and has moved in with another man. She said she is much happier in her new life considering that this is the man that she originally wanted to marry. Instead she married her ex because he was of the same faith and her parents were against the relationship she had with this other man. He is catholic. Now because of her decision the church has expelled her. And she has basically been disowned . I don't understand this. I love her very much and it pains me to see her hurting so much because she feels alone. She has always been a good daughter and supportive of all of those around her.And now when she needs their support they abandon her. I try calling her as often as I can. I too am catholic and the only one she talks to. I wish I could make it easier for her. Has anyone gone through this?

This is mostly a question for ladies who have (God knows how) managed to have successful, happy relationships with men.

How do you get your partner to quit doing something in bed that you don't like? Maybe everything else they do is fantastic, and you've been having a fantastic time, lost in happy-land, and all of a sudden they do that move that cuts off circulation to your legs or squeezes all the air out of your lungs. Trying to re-position him doesn't work - he'll just go right back to doing it. Do you say something right then? Do you hit him with the bedside lamp when he finishes? How do you address this issue without making him never want to sleep with you again?

Please help!

If your signifigant other had been away for awhile and called you and said they were coming home, would you have the nerve to answer the door dressed in only a red(or any other color) bow(or ribbon)?

i mean even if your married are single they do it all the time i dont understand it sometimes, its just cruel to play with peoples feelings, but women really, like dumbasses we fall for it sometimes, specially if we are married and they say things to us that our husbands do not say to us anymore, it makes a woman feel good and we fall for it and sometimes against our better judgement, not the same for everybody but in my mind, i feel for it hook, line, and sinker just cause the other man made me feel good again and attractable where my husband hardly tells me anymore

Serious answers. What would you REALLY do? If they had already totally quit cutting, and were totally over the issues and depression. It's all in the past. Would you still be freaked out? Would it keep you from being interested in a girl? Would you think they were crazy?

No mixing, the friends are the best you will have, the love is the best you will have, but with one, you can't have the other. So, with a love, you can have friends, but they aren't really that important in your life, and with friends, you won't have a love.

Do you think its really odd to be 29 and have only dated a few times...and never any sexual experiences? My friend has ADD/BIPOLAR and was kept very close to home growing up. Now her family doesnt really want to let go of her because they do not trust her to make good decissions and she is not working due to the above at this time. Any ideas for me to find a way to help her?

Can I get a single parent roll call?

I personally am not a single parent but my husband went on a mini vacation for a few days and I was left to care for our 2 year old son myself. For the moment, I feel like a single parent. I am going in sane! How do you guys do it day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year?

Anyway, I just wanted to give all the single parents on Yahoo! Answers PROPS!

Take care!
