it really depends on the tone of voice. if it's harsh and irate it means that the "person is better off without you ", "or is deserving of something more encouraging and worthwhile"
on the other hand it could mean that the person is"undeserving of your love or relationship". they feel that you deserve someone much more worthier than them.

I think it is an expression of their feelings, of saying you are so awesome, but the part of it that isn't so healthy to me, is that that person is almost saying, "you are better than me, I don't deserve you." As if that someone special doesn't think highly enough, equal to their partner..........I don't know, just my perception of it.

that depends on how he said that....if for example you are so good at him, everything he wishes you give it to him, and then he is the opposite, that he always do bad things to you....so i dont think he really deserved you...just find someone who really is deserving for that kind of treatment you are giving...loving doesnt have to ask too many questions but instead making the most out of it....

it either means, that he/she has found someone else and has invented a way to break up with you in a nice manner, or she really doesn't deserve you because you're too good for her/him but the 1st option is more likely.

it means he loves you a lot. He also feels that you deserve a much better person than him but he's oh so happy you aren't looking for a replacement.

It probably is their way of telling you how great you are and that maybe they thought they would end up with someone worse. Perhaps they feel guilty for something they did or something they did long ago in their past and they feel they are undeserving of a good relationship.

Truthfully I use that when I am getting ready to break up with someone. It is a nice way to tell them, I don't want to be with you.
