I did for a long long time. I felt that love was just something that people pretended to have because everyone else does it, so they should love to. I thought that love was made up and totally fake. Perhaps only God's love was real. However, that has all changed. Someday you will just see someone and you will feel love inside you. That someoone is someone you should try to go out with. Don't go out with someone and pretend to feel the love.

Love is not so much a myth as self-delusion. The media only gives us what we want. If nobody watched those shows or bought those sappy books, they wouldn't exist.

No, some busy body housewifes trying to marry off their daughters made up that myth centuries before tv came along.

Nope. I love my husband, my children, my family, and in a slightly different way I love my cats and my dog.

Hopefully someday you will look back at this question and think,"Wow! When I was younger I sure had some idiotic notions!"(meaning I hope you too find someone to love and who loves you back someday:) )

Have a great weekend!

No, and most of what you see on TV is just lust not love .
To many people confuse the two.
If you can have a great relationship with out sex that is love,a true test that people don't want to wait for .

No!

I think love is the product of certain sensory data triggering hormones and inducing a specific mental state in the brain.

Love is real.

Well, there was l9ove before tv and before books. I think love just got exaderated and more predictable. Love comes in all forms and it's stupid to say this IS love and this ISN'T love...

who really knows what love is, there really is no definition for the word love if you were to ask random people what love is you would get a whole wide range of different answers b/c love for everyone is different, as for your question i think that the feelings that you feel when you are in "love" are something that you can NOT expalin by one word it is a whole wide range of feelings.
