My sister met a guy from Angola in Spain and they got married.. after they had a baby with great complications at birth, mind you, the guy started beating her and she can't phisically take that kind of abuse... She had to call the police becasue he was about to kill her on Easter Sunday... since then they were apart for two months and then she made up with him!!! I am soo frustrated for the way she handeled this, she says that she loves the guy, did u have any similar experiences? how can I tell her best to leave the guy... this is her second abusive marriage, she's soo good looking, but such a magnet for jerks!

My name is Robert, I'm a senior. I have a great girlfriend, her name is Andrea and she's a sophmore. Well we've been dating for about 4 months now and I love her and I know she loves me. The only thing is that she can be kind of, for lack of a better word, obsessive. She tells me she loves me many many times a day and she says she doesn't know what she would do without me. She's even talking about trying a long-distance relationship when I head off for college. That's not exactly cool with me. I need some help on how to tell her that I'm not interested in a long-distance relationship.
And another thing, me and my ex broke up last year. We became best friends after the break up but all our friends say we should date again. Now I have had feelings for her since the breakup and she said the only thing she regrets in her life is breaking up with me. She has a boyfriend and I a girlfriend. We both have strong feelings for each other and I don't know what to do. HELP!

is wrong to lie to your boyfriends to make him feel bad if he has hurt you??? for ex: if he doesnt call you and when you do he doesnt want to talk and says he'll talk to you later but you he wont call and you know something is wrong. is wrong to some how let him know that something bad happend to you even though its isnt true??? i need some adice...

Because of chromosone disorder, I was told by my dr. to have an abortion in the 7th month of my pregnancy. That was 17 yrs. ago. I have told my 2 daughters, 21 & 16, about him and the situation. So they are aware that they have a brother in heaven. I try to make the day of my loss of him special as a family, so we always remember him in some way. Any suggestions?

No matter what, it seems like some people just don't understand that enough is enough when it comes to borrowing my phone every day, my vacuum, my computer, and bumming cigarettes day after day after day. I finally starting saying no and now I am the worst person these people know. I just got fed up after 6 months with some of the people living here at the same apartment complex, because they take advantage of my kindness and generosity. How about a couple of bucks occasionally for the use or a homemade dish of food. I even let a gal use my van twice. The second time she brought back the van with the spare mounted. The original was blown to smitherines, and didnt help pay for the gasoline let alone a new tire of $85.00......I still don't feel better complaining about this. My own fault I reckon. People will only use you as far as you allow them to. Any suggestions for the future or about the way I am being treated now? THANKS

For the past 6 years I haven't had any friends. I was in an abusive relationship for over 3 years and he controlled every move I made including not allowing me to have any friends. I left him about three years ago and I'm in a great relationship now and he always tells me to do my own thing and pushes me to acheive my dreams. I'm pretty happy in life with the exception that I have zero friends. I talk to people at work, but it never goes any further. Everyone took off for the long weekend or is out watching fire works and I'm stuck at home writing this with a glass of wine in my hand. I feel like I've forgotten how to make and keep friends and I'm tired of not being able to call anyone except for my bf, mom and the pizza guy.

I lie about everything! From the smallest things to the biggest things. I cannot stop! PLEASE do not suggest going to therapy because I really don't want to or even have a way to get there. every night he has off were together. and he picks me up to spend the night at his nearly every night after his work ( ie i have spent 14 nights at my home in 4 mths). he calls every day when he or i are out of town. he always says he misses me and he likes me i have been introduced to all his friends and his brother but wont commit. i know he was hurt very badly in his last relationship and wants to take it slow which am more than happy to do. but why does he introduce me to everyone as his "friend" (they clearly know its more than that) than his partner. i really like this guy and dont want to push him into something he is not ready to do, but i dont know how to ask him where he thinks this is going without freecking him out?
